Chapter 227: Plan B

"What am I going to do now? Her majesty is going to kill me! My life is over," Joan cried as she crouched down by the roadside in the trade fair center and cried. 

"Please calm down, Joan," Drake pleaded, looking down at her with a worried frown before he crouched down in front of her and handed her his handkerchief.

They had asked Ben to stay back in the car and not go to the trade fair center with them lest someone recognizes him, and word gets to his parents that he was outside the palace.

As prince and the heir to the throne of Rodena, his movement was often restricted, and he couldn't move around freely without his guards or a royal purpose. 

"If only she had gone out with her phone, then it would have been easier to locate her," Joan cried as she blew her nose into the handkerchief Drake gave her.
