Chapter 206: One And The Same

"You still haven't been able to get in touch with her?" The King asked in concern as Dan paced around his chamber.

"What if Ian has done something horrible to her?" Dan asked, making the King look at him incredulously. 

"Do you think so? Are you capable of hurting a defenseless lady?" He asked, reminding Dan that he was Ian and Ian was him. 

Dan paused in front of the king and looked at him, "Well, I won't exactly call Bella a defenseless lady, but I don't know much about him..."

"People rarely change. You may be the future Ian, but you both are still the same. You know him better than I do because you share the same soul," The King said, making Dan sigh. 

"Yet he left her in the middle of nowhere at night," Dan said with a scoff before recalling once again that he had done something similar when he shut Bella out of his Van. Maybe he wasn't so different from Ian after all.
