Chapter 185: The One

By the time both Ben and Bella arrived at Dan's family mansion, Patrick was long gone, and Nicole was alone with Dan at the poolside, where he had asked Bella to meet him. 

"Is that the second ring?" They overheard Nicole ask as they approached them.

"Yeah," Dan said with a nod as she looked at the emerald ring he was holding enviously. He had been busy with making the funeral arrangements, and thankfully both Richie and Zach had gone out to help him with some of the arrangements after Zach dropped off the ring with him. 

"Hi!" Bella called, and they both turned around to look at her. Nicole stood up and hurriedly went to Ben's side immediately after she saw him. 

Ben had a smile on his face as she threw her arms around him, "Are you okay? I was very worried about you," Ben said with a concerned frown.

"I'm not the one who was abducted. I hope they didn't touch you," She asked as she drew away from him to look him over.
