Chapter 67: Burnt.

Bella rushed out of her bedroom when she heard the door opening and knew it must be Zach. She smiled brightly at him when she stepped into the living room, and she saw him standing there as usual.

"Hey, Kiddo!" Zach said with a grin, which made the corner of his eyes wrinkle while his eyes shone at her. Bella blinked at him several times as she looked into his handsome face.

"Are you okay?" Zach asked when she just kept looking at him without saying anything. 

Bella cleared her throat quickly, "Yeah. Sure," She said with a nod. She would never have thought the day would come when she would be speechless around a guy, but here she was, having two opposite yet similar reactions to Zach and a shirtless Dan. 

"Were you able to prepare the boss' breakfast?" Zach asked in a whisper, and Bella nodded her head.

"Did he catch you?" Zach asked again in a whisper. 

"No," Bella whispered back.
