Chapter 65: Brothers

"Not that bad isn't good, is it?" Dan asked with a raised brow as he poured wine into both glasses and sat down beside her. So she was going to be stingy with her compliments? He knew she had enjoyed the movie since he had watched her laugh and had also seen her wipe her tears too, and then she had stolen a few glances at him as though she couldn't believe he was the same person she was seeing on the screen. 

"You did okay, if that's what you're asking," Bella said with another shrug and gave him a questioning look when he handed her one of the wine glasses he had filled, "What happened to the no-drinking rule?"

"Well, I'm the boss. I get to bend the rules when I feel like it," He said with a grin, "So rate it on a scale of 1 to 10. How well do you think I performed? And what are the flaws you observed? And please try to be honest with your response," Dan pleaded.
