Chapter 170: Way to revive Nyx

"That child... it was you," Rebus looked at her in wonderment.

"yes it was me.." Ambai giggled softly. "but don't think for a second you are forgiven. I'm still pissed off that you came down to kill me when I was just a baby,"

"Then I saw your smile and changed my mind," Rebus cupped her cheeks and gently kissed her pouty lips. "You were so cute back then,"

"Gasp, you are saying that I'm not cute now?!" Ambai pouted.

Rebus glanced at her with a soft smile. 'To think that chid grew up so be such a beauty....  can't believe I almost killed her,' he hugged her tightly in his embrace and gently patted her back. "You are adorable now."

"That was smooth dude," she glanced up with shimmering eyes.

'Oh, how I missed these smiling eyes,' He glided his fingers gently over the corner of her upturned eyes.

Even though Ambai was in Nyx's body, it did not feel that weird. But somehow there was a small pain in the back of his heart.
