Chapter 21: Royal detective
Song Yoonji's POV:
I heard them talking in Dan Yul's room.
Who is blushing? I entered the room, they were all startled like they have been caught red handed. They were not ready to tell me anything.
'Excuse me, I'm also part of this group!'
Then I turned towards Dan Yul, I saw something strange. Why in hell his cheeks were so pink?
I directly asked him 'who is she' and his eyes became even wider. He was so shocked by my direct question. Well you can't hide it from me. I'm your only female friend so I'm undoubtedly special.
He told me her name is 'Jeon Min tae' and everything he knew about her. But he just met her once. How can he be so sure that he likes her. I have never seen Dan Yul reacting this way for anyone. It was unique.
I need to know everything about her not only for my brother but also for the sake of this kingdom. I mean if they will marry, she is going to be the next queen.
Having these thoughts I rushed outside Dan Yul's room before he can stop me.
I started searching for her. I asked in town but there is no news of someone coming from northern region. Then I started searching for old women who lives alone because he said she was living with her father and now came to visit her mother.
People told me there is one old woman who lives near forest, she is a physician. They showed me the way and I reached near her cute little house. It was a small house having garden infront. I was standing near a tree and carefully observing the house when I saw the door opened and four beautiful young girls with one old lady who must be their mother came out.
'Wait! Which one is Jeon Min Tae? That idiot left the important part that there are four sisters. Can't believe how dumb a person can be!!!'
They all were wearing cloaks. I couldn't see much because of distance but I can still tell they were beautiful. They started walking towards market and I followed them. Her mother stopped for moment and started walking again.
They stopped infront of a clothing store and the women at the clothing store waved at their mother. Owner and mother started talking animatedly. The golden haired girl whispered something to dark brown haired girl and she hushed her. Wait a minute, is that dark brown haired girl wearing Dan Yul's cloak.
'Oh brother I got your girl.'
They went inside the shop.
I waited for them patiently. They came after changing. Thank god they have different hair color otherwise what I would've done to recognize them.
They dark brown haired girl took one of the carry-bag from her mother's hand. They started shopping for meat. They were happy with each other's company is what I can confirm from their smiling faces. They also stopped to shop for some vegetables and meat. None of them let their mother take any weights, that's a good sign.
They left the market and started walking towards their house again. Their mother stopped again but this time she turned. I hide behind the trees. I hope she hasn't seen me or I'm doomed.
'Please God, save me i won't call Jong a fat cow. I won't make faces when he talk. I will never bother him again. Oh that's a lie, I will try not to bother him'
"What happened umma?" asked light brown haired one. And they all stopped walking.
"Nothing dear" replied old lady and they started walking again.
They reached their home and entered. I wanted to see what is happening inside so I climbed the tree near their house. I saw them helping their mother while cooking. Then they sat together and eat. I felt my stomach growling. 'Uhh, I am feeling hungry too' I thought.
They cleaned up and went to bedroom. I waited for them to come again and they came and started making bed.
They seems pretty normal to me. I think I was thinking way too much. Jong was right. I am turning into a detective. I was being suspicious for no reason. 'Time to return'.
I shifted my weight to climb down the tree then I felt branch under me started shaking.
'Oh no!! That was the last thing I wanted happening with me today'.
And with the thud the branch fell and I fell along with it. I couldn't help but scream.
"OuucchhH"
The door opened immediately and the old women along with her daughters came outside with worried expressions.
"So, you are still following us..."
