Chapter 14: Chapter Thirteen - The toy vendor

Chanel approached them and joined the crowd. She took a look the billboard, and it was about the grand ball that will be held before the school year ends. N the classroom, her calssmates were talking about the grand ball.

"We have to earn for the ticket and find partner!" Her classmates said excitedly.

Then they saw Chanel from their behind, then they all laughed at her, because her uniform was not ironed. She sat down on her desk and slouched.

"Hey, don't you know about the grand ball?" One of her classmates asked her.

"Yeah, I saw the poster at the billboard," she said softly.

"Are you excited?" she asked.

Chanel just gave her a slight smile.

"Poor girl, she was not excited because she don't have enough money to buy a ticket!" Her other classmate said.

"And I think, that is not only her problem, she don't have a partner either!" Her classmate said then they start to laughed at her.
