"I can see it on you," The Patriarch's sunken, green eyes made contact with Vanilla's dark eyes, just as if they were the ones intimidating her soul-reading stare. "You have been abused and hurt. But the worst of all is, they have lied to you."

'I can see it on you. You have been abused and hurt.' Those words reminded her of that man of greek god complexion she met outside of the galaxy, although in a creeper and hostile way.

She deviated her eyes, but her natural instinct entered a defensive mode. "What do you mean?" She raised her voice. "How do you know all of that? What do you want from me?" She breathed deep and gained temporal confidence. "And please respond to me this time."

"You sure like to make questions," He nodded slowly, keeping his cool. "What I mean is that you have been enslaved, lied to, and you're being manipulated towards doing something disastrous."
