Chapter 71: #71 Trouble (Sakura) 1
Yuichi arrived at his room and immediately dropped down on his bed, face first.
'If they wouldn't have accepted my deal, I would just cause expulsion of 3 students that were just used by somebody and even most likely beaten by that 'somebody' just to make them appear more pitiful...Then...despite all that...' Yuichi gripped his heart with his right hand as his mouth curled up.
'Why do I feel such excitement? Have I perhaps wished for them to hesitate and miss their opportunity to refuse?'
*inhale* *exhale* "Better grab a quick dinner before getting ready for tomorrow" Yuichi took a few deep breaths to calm himself before he stood up and muttered with a calm expression.
After Yuichi ate dinner, he decided to text Sakura.
[Good job during the discussion today! You have done really well.] (Y)
[Thank you but I feel like I haven't done much...No one really believed me because I haven't stepped forward much sooner and even when I got a chance to defend my statement, I once again hesitated.] (S)
When he read her reply, he could practically hear her sadness and disgust towards this side of her.
[No worries, that Class C's homeroom teacher was just bullying you. He was applying too much unnecessary pressure on you during the discussion and his worries of why you haven't stepped forward sooner are also just lies. He just used it to his advantage but even if you stepped forward sooner, he would have found something different, for example, the fact that you are from Class D. After all, he didn't trust you even after you have shown definitive proof of being there.] Yuichi sent her a comforting message just in case she was feeling depressed.

When Yuichi read her reply while lying on the bed, he faintly smiled before shaking his head with closed eyes.
'Not everything is resolved yet...I have to remain vigilant' *sigh* Yuichi thought before releasing a tired sigh.

Yuichi's school days continued on and on the weekend he went with Mei on a "date" although to tell the truth, to him it didn't feel any different from the past when they went out together somewhere. He wondered if...if he were to go with somebody he knew only for a short time, would he feel different? He never had any romance experience, neither he lusted for it. Obviously, he was taught by his parents some basics like how a man needs to protect his woman and he understood all of their points but he never got to know the process of getting his "own" woman. He naturally read a lot of different books and mangas but he just didn't find any desire to "court" anyone.
OR maybe he wasn't just allowing himself to be vulnerable to love. Maybe he was already aware of that however he himself doesn't want to lose control over what is happening within his body. If you have perfect control over your emotions, there is a lesser chance of someone exploiting them.
'Perhaps Ike and others aren't the ones that are weird but it's me...Should I pursue somebody to get an understanding of what it truly means to be in a relationship? From Ike's group's words, I confirmed that most teenage boys feel attracted to cute, beautiful girls and it's a big plus if she has a big rack...So why is it not the same with me? I can appreciate Ichinose or Horikita's beauty or Mei's cuteness but that doesn't make me feel any different towards them.' Yuichi thought with slightly dull green eyes while walking through the hallways at school as his classes already ended for the day.
*Beep* *Beep*
His phone finally woke him up from his thoughts and he quickly took his phone out of his pocket just to notice the caller's name is Sakura.
"Yes?!" He quickly accepted the call and almost shouted in a hurried manner.
"Iwamura-kun, I think I am being fo-" *beep *beep*
"...Tch!" Yuichi clicked his tongue but judging from the sounds in the background she must have been somewhere at the mall which would give him time to look at her exact location while running out of the school.
He also quickly called Ayanokoji's number.
"Yes?" A monotonous voice came from the other side as Ayanokoji accepted his call.
"*huff* Where are you?" Yuichi asked while running through the hallways.
"Eh? At the dorms, what is happening?" (A)
"*huff* I see, it's about Sakura, she should be somewhere around the mall, I will send you the exact location through the message. I am not sure who will make it there first, I am still at the school. *bump*"
"Alright, I am going outside, by the way, what was that sound just now?" Ayanokoji got ready to leave his room before he asked curiously.
"*huff* huh? Nothing, I just jumped out of the window, don't worry, I made sure no cameras are around and it's already quite late so most students are away. These hallways are too long. I will send you her exact location in a minute but meanwhile, you can make your way towards the mall." Yuichi said before ending the call.

*Beep*
"Huh? Jumped out of the window?" Ayanokoji stared at the display of his phone with a weird look in his eyes.

When Yuichi arrived at the place where Sakura's phone is located, he found her inside a slightly darker alley at the back of the same electronics store. When he looked around he couldn't spot Ayanokoji at all but he quickly spotted 1 security cameras that should have a pretty good angle into the dark alley. The camera was located some distance away but it should be enough to recognize people's faces.
At the time he arrived, Sakura was already rejecting the guy's confession. When Yuichi looked a bit closer, he noticed it was the same employee of the electronics store.
'So...he is that stalker on her blog, huh? Looks like he took her phone, so that's why she ended the call so suddenly. Why would she even go to this alley if she knew she was being followed by somebody?! And where the hell is Ayanokoji?' Yuichi thought but the second later, he noticed someone approaching him from his side due to his peripheral vision.
He quickly turned to Ayanokoji and gestured him to be quiet. Ayanokoji nodded his head as he crouched down next to Yuichi, observing the situation.
'He doesn't seem to be out of breath despite heavily breathing during our call...That was probably some kind of breathing technique. Not to mention, he was still at the school when our call ended and he still arrived here sooner than me. He must have sprinted here the entire way.' Ayanokoji thought while glancing at Yuichi's face.
"Let's wait for a bit until he does something that can be considered criminal." Yuichi said in a low voice while pointing at the opposite side of the alley where the security camera was installed on one of the street lamps.
"Hm? All right, should I go for the security in the meantime?" Ayanokoji asked.
"Feel free to do so but talk to them only when I send you a message. We have no idea if he will even do anything." Yuichi said and Ayanokoji nodded his head before sneaking away.
Sakura and the clerk continued talking but it was more about Sakura rejecting his advances but instead of getting angry or dejected, the clerk seemed to grow even more excited, saying that he just needs to show her his love for her to accept him.
"D-don't come any closer!" Sakura wanted to shout when the clerk started approaching her but all that came from her mouth was a muffled voice in fear.
The clerk pushed her on the ground and pinned both her hands to the ground while he started unbuttoning her blazer. He was looking hungrily at her chest still covered by her shirt and Sakura only closed her eyes in fear with tears forming in the corners of her eyes.
She was completely mute but her shaking was much more intense than that of a chihuahua.
"AGH!"
She suddenly heard the clerk scream in pain and she also felt his bodyweight completely disappear and her hands became free once again.
"And it's Iwamura Yuichi with a spectacular kick and it's a GOOAL!"
Sakura opened her eyes and she stared with a shocked expression at Yuichi who still had his knee in the position where the clerk's head used to be together with a cheerful expression.
"I-Iwamura-kun?"
"Yo! I found you!" Yuichi turned at Sakura with a grinning face before extending his hand to her to help her stand up.
Instead of taking his hand immediately, Sakura looked around and found the clerk a few meters away on all four with the blood pouring down from the side of his head, this sight made her quickly take Yuichi's hand who used a bit of strength to sprang her up but he didn't expect Sakura to also try to quickly stand up so instead of getting to her feet, she was about to trip.
Yuichi quickly stopped her from falling by blocking her with his entire body but when her head was resting on his chest, she didn't want to move away from him, and instead, she firmly clutched his blazer.
'Hm?' Yuichi let her be and just pat her head a few times before looking towards the clerk who was a little disoriented but when he touched the side of his head and saw blood on his hands, he started panicking.
"Calm down, I just lightly kicked you, nothing serious, at least when I compare it to what is about to happen to you." Yuichi said while rolling his eyes.
"L-Lightly?! I am bleeding! You might have damaged my brain or skull" He replied in a frantic voice.
"I wouldn't be worried about the brain...that must have been damaged way before if you really tried to violate high school girl. Maybe I even fixed it a bit, you know, they say that sometimes if you hit your head when you are already stupid, you will turn smart! But it's not like you will get a chance to use it even if it made you smarter." Yuichi said in a playful manner and amused smile while showing him the photos he took with his phone. However, to the clerk, Yuichi's smile looked the same as the devil's smile, he felt as if Yuichi was experiencing joy in seeing him suffer.
