Chapter 18: Senior Year: Clinicals

Prosser is a Vocational school as i mentioned and my senior and junior year I went their for health careers. Senior year is when you really get your hand on experience and they send you to what they call Clinicals where you got for an unpaid internship and get to experience what its like in your desired filed to see if its the right for you. My second year at prosser I was in the Sterile possessing class and had my internship in the SPD Unit. The Sterile possessing unit is in the basement and it is the unit that is in charge on Sterilizing the medical instruments and making sure the surgery carts are ready for surgery. I went to Clinicals until school shutdown and went on lockdown I made friends with the workers their and i miss them so much. They even said that if i didn't get a graduation they would make me a cake and have their own little graduation for me in the hospital hallway.
