Chapter 4: Her only partner in loneliness
"Melly will you answer your phone, its continuous ringing is irritating me now."

"Do you thinking by not picking up the call you will be able to escape from your mother's wrath."
"I was not the alone who pulled the stunt, you were the main culprit. You were the person who injured the brother's baby, you were one who wants to show her skills but why every time l get the beating and scolding?"
"Because l was not one who wanted to be a Wonder Woman."

"So stop blaming me baby orange and think of a perfect excuse from that brain of yours which can save you".
"Don't call me that"
"Poor baby orange."
"Are you even my friend, can't you even help me out this once."
Showing her dazzling white teeth, Valine said to her..."Why should I BABY ORANGE?"
"Making her puppy face, puckering her lips into a cute pout, she said...I am your friend, best friend and little sis-in-law too."
"Oh! Are you, why don't l remember."

"Sob, sob...you forgot our years of friendship."
'Here the drama queen mode on.'
"Save this acting of yours for mother because you know it won't work on me."

"You are correct, I'm heartless as my heart belongs to your brother."

She was still thinking of a perfect story which makes her escape from her mother's spanking.
She knows very well that her stunt today which in her language called helping may have already reached to her mother ears, after all, she did a great job- 'breaking all traffic rules, crushing the things in her way but who will make her mother understand that she was merely helping a young girl, who came to her crying for help. She can't be rude to turn it down, right!?
But before she can cook any excuse, the driver informed them about their arrival.
He stopped the cab just outside a manor. The simple cab can't enter the heavy security of the gate.
"We reached that soon!!?? When did distance become this short??"
Valine ignored stupid questions of Melly and stepped out of the car first.
The guards on the gate recognised her and nodded towards her, she returned it with a short cut nod.
In the cab, Melly was still persistent to come out. She doesn't want to face her mother's wrath.
Cab driver..."Miss, we are already here, so will you...
"Can you bring me to a hospital or any other place that's good for hiding."
"..."
"No Miss, I don't know any place like that."
"I see, can l stay here in your cab for a day?"
"..."
"I will pay the double you earn in one day."
"..."
"Miss, my wife will beat me up if she finds out I was with another woman for a whole day."
"Who is going to tell your wife, it will be only our top secret."

"Miss, please spare me."
Watching the excellent escape plan of her friend, Valine couldn't stop herself from pitying her.
She went to her, gave a small pat on her head and said to cab driver...
"Sorry boss, my friend is mentally unstable, don't listen to her."
The cab driver "Ohh..ohkkk...not a problem."
Melly gave her a being wronged glare which Valine obviously ignored.
"Baby orange get down of the cab, don't trouble uncle, uncle needs to work", she said it like coaxing the child not to throw a tantrum."
Not to her wish Melly still got off the cab but next second she started to pull on Valine sleeves, like a child who did wrong and now when it's time to get the punishment; she is pleading her elders to save her.
But Valine dragged her inside the gate. Did she think her mother can't find her out in this entire city, it will take just a swipe of her a little finger to dig Melly out anywhere she will be hiding.
"Do you think you can hide??"
"What else l can do, even you don't want to help me out."
"Fine, l will help you."
"Huh, Really!?"
Melly sudden excitement almost made Valine lose her balance. Ahhhh, this girl needs some piece of mind
"Yes, l can help you, but..."
"But?"
"Only on one condition."
"What?? I will do whatever you say, l promise!!"
"Don't promise before you listen me out. l don't want anything, you just need to give something."
"Need to give you something?"
With an evil smile on her lips, she looked at her. It caused Melly to have goosebumps. This smile is way creepy and she is very well aware of it.'
Quickly covering her upper body with her hands...
"Sorry, l know I'm beautiful, but l won't give my body."
"..."
"Who wants your body!!"
"Because you are looking at me with those horny eyes of yours."

"I am not HELPING YOU anymore."
"No, sis-in-law, you are such a great personality, a great grandmaster, an undefeatable lady, a pure-hearted lady. How can l even think you will be interested in peasants body like me when you have tasted a king body, my brother."
Hearing this, she gave her a deadly look and yanked her hand off her sleeves. 'This girl is becoming more shameless.'
Grabbing sleeves again..." Sorry, sorry sis-in-law, don't leave me, l forgot you would not have a taste of it until the wedding, just tell me your condition...okay??
"Hmm...condition, it's simple, give me all snacks you hide it in your room and do remember my words...every snack I said!!"
Like a thunderstruck on Melly...'No, did she heard it wrong. This can't be true, she definitely must have heard it wrong...her SNACKS'
"You heard it right, give it to me and l will help you to escape."
"You can't do this to me, my snacks, I can't."
"Then, no help. No snacks, no deal"
"Don't be such a big meanie."
"I m not forcing you. It's up to you, accept it or decline it."
'Her snacks are her love, her only partner in loneliness. How can she even trade it!!??'
"Miss. Hansen decide quickly as we are almost there and look butler is also waiting for us.
Raising her head, she realised they were just outside of the main door...damn she didn't have time to think...
Finally accepting her fate she gave up...' her snacks, she was not able to protect it from someone evil hands.'
"Okay, l will give all my snacks but don't back out from your words."
"I will not."
Closing their deal, they walked to the butler.
Seeing them, butler greeted both which they replied with their smiles. But before going in, Melly asked the butler...
"Is momma in her room??"
"No, Miss.Hansen"
Hearing this she sighed in relief and enthusiastically entered the home but what came next made her eyes go wide.
'A straight flying slipper on her head.'
