Chapter 117: Useless

"Your majesty we brought that priest here"

The king Mawrqis was seated on his study table while his head was buried in bunch of documents. Well he was a king so work was un-avpidable. He slwoyly lifted his head and examined the intruder. 

Both the guards stiffened whe they were gazed by him. Even Severus was intimidated by him. Altough it wasn't his first time meeting with him still he felt restless. It was as if he can see through him. His anxiety was written all over his face. Well it was good actually. A local priest can't remain calm in face of such pressure.

Marquis flicked his robe as he casually took down his gold rimmed glasses. He gestured his finger and those two burly man left the study. Now it was only Marquis and Severus. 

Severus rejoiced happily. He even did not know when it happened but noworry became an important part of his life.
