Was I So Easy To Forget?

"Stephanie, how dare you speak to Boss so rudely? Haven't you been taught how to respect your elders?" Charlie who could not tolerate Stephanie's mean words interrupted her without thinking twice about the consequences of his actions.

"Maybe I am acting so rude right now because I had no mother to teach me manners and hey, so what if I speak to her so rudely? Are you gonna slap me for being impolite or what?" Stephanie fired back in a feat of rage.

"You...,"

"Keep quiet, Charlie," Jennifer ordered.

Yeah,  I praised her for being rude earlier but my Boss deserves better treatment. I can't stand her being so rude to a person as good as my Boss.

Charlie thought as he tried to keep his temper in check.

"Was I so unloved? Was I so easy to discard that you had to  abandon me when I was just a month old?" Stephanie broke off the two minutes of silence.
