Chapter 15: Chapter 14 Purple Ones
"You've gotten better." Madara said, as Jack sat on the ground. "Ya I trained a bit after last time, and the results were, good to say the least." Jack explained, hearing this Madara was quite happy.
'I see my student can self reflect.' Madara contemplated. "Well good, from now on, we'll spar an hour after class every day, and then you'll meditate to collect energy, before I take you back to the Academy." Madara declared, as he nodded to himself.
"Actually, I have a better idea, why don't you teach me how to use certain weapons and more about the world after sparring, and I meditate at the Academy. To me its like sleeping so might as well do other things apart from endlessly meditate." Jack suggested, Madara was in awe hearing this.
'Very few people feel like they've rested after meditation, well unless they're top level cultivation experts.' Madara thought, as he smiled. "Hahaha, okay then. My student, since you have chosen this, don't blame me for whats to come." Madara voiced as he sliced his hand through the air.
Suddenly a multitude of weapons fell to the ground of every type imaginable. "First, we'll start with the kunai." He said, as he grabbed one. He then immediately threw it, barely missing Jack's head.
"Even the simplest weapon can be used to kill. This will be, All Encompassing, Weapon Studies Class!" Madara announced. "First Lesson: Kunai!" He stated as he lightly tossed a kunai towards Jack.
"We'll start with your aim. Currently you lack aim, and even if you are able to utilize energy blasts later, you might lack precision! Kunai can easily make up for this fault." Madara explained as he nonchalantly threw a kunai, hitting an unknowing ant.
The kunai barely damaged the ground and Madara quickly picked it up, as he twirled it around in his hand. "This will take time and practice, so about a week tops, after that we'll be using shuriken, then I'll teach you how to use your everyday item as a weapon. Throughout this time you will also continue to get stronger and stronger and eventually, you'll fight "them"." He finished explaining as Jack looked at him oddly.
"I know what you're going to ask, but zip it, you'll find out tomorrow." Madara stated, as he shook his head. "Now show me your best kunai throw!" He demanded. Jack then got up, and threw a kunai at a tree.
It dented the tree somewhat and was stuck. "Pathetic." Madara stated as he shook his head. "Again!" He said, and thus begun a long cycle of kunai throwing.
Later that day, Madara took Jack back to the academy. He then later made it back to his dorm and fell onto his bed. 'At the end of that he said my throwing was barely passable, I guess that means I did well.' Jack mused as he gazed at the tv.
"Breaking News! There has been an outbreak from the Nexus! I repeat there has been an outbreak from the Nexus! Currently the Fighters are on it, and the Protectors are on stand by." The News Anchor said as an image of a gigantic crystal, appeared along with multiple purple dots flying out of it.
"What the fuck!?" Jack said as he watched the tv. "Do you know what those are?" Conner asked as he looked towards Jack. "No clue honestly." Jack answered as he watched the tv.
"This just in, Jaecheondaesong is on the case!" The News Anchor said as a gigantic grey staff plowed through space and crushed swats of the purple beings. Little by little, they encroached on the staff though, as the staff waved around with immense force.
"It seems the outbreak is too immense this time, Jaecheondaesong is being overwhelmed back up is making their way there right now." They reported as suddenly a bright light entered the camera.
"The 10,000 Purities Taoist, has made his way onto the scene!" They announced as multiple white lights filled the void. Although they were in the middle of fighting the outbreak, they didn't seem to get along, as the Taoist avoided purifying the purple dots along the staff.
Simultaneously though, the staff barely missed the bright lights half the time, only missing by a hair's breadth. As more and more of the purple dots began to be killed, the staff suddenly shrunk as multiple purple dots began to disappear, as if being sucked up.
'This, it must be, Mori Jin.' Jack thought as he gazed at the two. He honestly had no clue who 10,000 Purities Taoist was, there were way too many cultivation novels out there, and considering the fact that people were in the Nexus for about 400 years, it would be no surprise if he was the love child between 2 young cultivators at the time.
A few minutes later the dots were all cleared, and the two shot off to a specific location, specifically the camera floating in space.
"Outbreak cleared! Difficulty low." The Taoist quickly said before disappearing. "Ya, Outbreak cleared. The difficulty was low, the only issue was the amount, I suggest flooding the gate with a lot of people!" Jaecheondaesong said up close to the camera, his red eyes gleaming.
He then also disappeared, as only an afterimage of him was left. "You heard it, the Outbreak was cleared and the gate shouldn't be that difficult gladly. This was Channel Nexus, signing out." The News Anchor finished, as Jack and Conner were both in awe.
Suddenly the door opened, as Bill came in along with a half dead Kurt. "What happened?" Conner asked shocked. "Nothing, Kurt just over trained again, and my teacher, he's just, an asshole." Bill said as he clenched his fist.
He then dropped Kurt onto his bed before going to sleep as well. Seeing this, and considering what they just watched, Conner and Jack were too on edge to sleep, but they were definitely motivated to train.
Jack swiftly got up and sat on his bed meditating, while Conner switched off the tv and sat on his bed as his body turned red overall.
'Hahaha, I will beat them all! Who said that Boros was only a shitty planet buster? I am about to really punch with the force of a big bang!' Jack thought in determination as energy entered through his eye.
