Chapter 1: The One Who Broke Me
Summary ;)
Once upon a time, there was a girl called Norah Genevieve Harmony. Some might say she was living her best life. That was indeed the case. Everything was going as planned. She was doing great in school, had a boyfriend, a best friend and everybody she loved was healthy.
Since this is reality and no fairytale, there had to come something crashing towards her. Literally.
After a car accident, she loses both her parents. Not much later her boyfriend of one year breaks up with her out of nowhere, gets together with her best friend and Madelyn, a teacher, who was one of the only persons who truly believed and helped her, leaves England, to live with her small family in America, without knowing what had happened.
She is left alone in this big dreadful world. So, being away from all the bad memories will hurt no soul, right? Little did she know, there would be a surprise waiting for her.

Once there, I fill up a glass with water and take little sips. One at the time, I tell myself.
I take an apple, after drinking everything, which I used approximately five minutes since my stupid mind only took little sips.
After putting the apple core in the bin, I start walking to the living room.
On the way there, the doorbell rings. "Can you..." Frank says, and I interrupt him midsentence. "On my way."
I don't even bother looking through the peephole but regret it as soon as I open the door. My eyes slowly roam the body up to the persons' eyes, and once I'm there, my mouth falls agape.
"You've got to be shitting me?" I say in complete shock, and he wears the same expression on his face as he sees me, but he doesn't get the chance to say anything because I already slammed the door in his face. How could this happen?!

Thank you for choosing my book! This is my first book. I have to say it's a lot of fun letting my imaginations allow to run wild. And before you ask, no, English is not my native language.
I was always fascinated by the English language. Whether it was while reading books in English or singing songs in English. I always felt happy doing these things more in English than in any other language.
