CHAPTER 4
"What?"
I asked the red haired girl who just said that she'll buy the book I'm holding.
"I said I'd like to buy that book from you"
She said pointing at the book that's in my hands.
"Oh! this? Don't worry, I just glanced at it! I'm not planning to buy it"
I told her and hand her the book to assure her that I'm not really planning to buy this book.
She quickly took the book and admired it with sparkling eyes.
"Really? Wow! Thank you!! Thank you so much! I've been sneaking out of my house just to buy this! And I thought I'll go home without buying one!"
She cuddled the book like a stuffed toy. She really loves that book.
"You really like that book huh?"
I told her. She quickly nodded in joy and went near me.
"Of course! When I first read the first volume of this novel after borrowing it from one of my maids, I've been going to the market to buy the volume one and volume two! The books from my house are really boring since it's mostly educational books"
Wait!
She's sneaking out of her home just to buy that novel?!
"I really love Sajan and Lennon's love story~!"
She squealed and rubs the book in her cheeks.
"By the way, I think you should try read-"
She was saying something but her sentence is cut off by a familiar voice calling from behind me.
"Young miss! There you are!"
I looked behind and saw Sara running towards me.
"Wait...! You're a noble?!"
The red-haired girl asked me.
Ouch! Don't I look like one?
"Yes, why?"
I answered her but she just panics and put her robe back to conceal her face before taking a few gold coins from her robe's pocket.
"Ahhhh! No! Pretend that you didn't saw me! Here sir! the money!"
She hurriedly puts the few gold coins to the stall's counter and quickly sprints away from me.
"Hey, kid! Your change!"
The stall keeper shouted.
"Keep the change!"
She replied without looking back to us. The stall keeper just sighed and put the gold coins inside his own pocket.
Why was she so shocked when she discovered that I'm a noble?
"Young miss!"
Sara was already behind me. She's panting and is catching her breath, her face is red from all that running.
"Sara!"
"Didn't I tell you to stay inside the carriage? I was so worried about you! What if something happens to you, young miss? I can't forgive myself!
She crosses her arm in disappointment. I can see her eyes tearing up.
She appears to be very sad and worried instead of looking exasperated.
"Sorry Sara...I got curious of the books"
"It's alright, young miss...but please don't leave like that!"
She suddenly put me in a tight embrace. Her hands are shaking, she's really scared.
I guess I shouldn't have left like that and at least tell the coachman that I'm going somewhere. Besides, this is Delie...a noble and has a high chance of getting kidnap, I've been careless.
I don't have the right to harm Delie. Even if I'm not Delie, I'm still inside her body and life.
Sara and I went back to the carriage and go home. The tea party is next week, I need to get ready and doll myself up!

"Zzzzzz"
It's already been a week and today is the tea party. I was sleeping peacefully when Sara opened the curtains beside me which exposed the bright sunlight to me.
"Too bright!"
I can feel the sunlight in my face, it made me woke up from sleeping instantly.
"Good morning, young miss!"
Sara greeted me with a wide smile, there are three more maids behind her.
"Uhhh...so early..."
I rubbed my eyes and I can feel a strand of my hair in my mouth. I remove that strand of hair away from my mouth.
Eww!
"Let's start!"
Sara claps her hands and the other maids prepare the bubble bath and removes my nightgown.
They started bathing me when I sat inside a bubble bath and scrubbing me from head to toe. They used a bunch of essential oils to to spread on my skin.
They dry my hair before curling it and putting a small hat accessory to match my yellow dress.
"It's done!"
They all cheered after they had finished dressing me up.
I looked myself in the mirror.
Hmm...not bad! Yellow looks quite good to me too.
I should try wearing other colors instead of purple sometimes.
...
"Wow! You look good! Very good! You all did a great job!"
Mother praised the maids when she saw me going down our large stairs with my new look.
"Thank you"
All the maid's including Sara bowed to her to show their appreciation. They all smiled after mother praised them.
"Delie, please behave yourself in the tea party, you know it will damage not only your reputation but the whole family, yes?"
It sounds like she's blackmailing me instead of advising me. Either of the two, I do need to make a good impression to the other nobles.
"I will, mother!"
I told her before heading to my carriage and going to the Vi Claross residence where the tea party is being held.
"Good luck sister!"
I heard Dahlia cheered for me when I peek my head out of the window and wave at them.
"Alright! You can do this, Delie!"
I slap both of my cheeks using my small hands to assure myself.
I can do this!

I'm getting fired up! Hahaha!
"I can't do this..."
I muttered to myself after the carriage had dropped me off in the large front gate of the Vi Claross' mansion.
"Well then, I'll be going young miss"
The coachman said to me before leaving me behind.
Wait!
You're leaving already??
"..."
I peeped on the large gate. I saw the garden at the other side and a bunch of young noble girls my age.
I should get inside. Come on! This is just a little girl's party, what can go wrong?
I sighed and place one of my hand in my chest to calm myself.
"Why don't you go in?"
Someone whispered behind me and tap my shoulders.
"Gahhh!"
I jumped in surprise and saw a cute young noble girl smiling behind me.
She has long curly pink hair and pink eyes. She's wearing a pink dress which has a design full of ribbon and pearls.
She has a very PINK appearance.
"Hmm? Why don't you go inside? You're here for the tea party, right?"
She asked me. I coughed and pat my clothes to compose myself.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, I'm Delie La Eclaus! The second child and eldest daughter of the La Eclaus family"
I introduced myself to her. Mother always reminded me to greet everyone and introduce myself formally.
"Likewise, I'm Phia Fa Hudson! The youngest daughter and fifth child of the Fa Hudson count family!"
Phia...?
Another name that sounds very familiar to me.
"Phia? Not Sophia?"
"Just Phia"
"Shall we go inside? Let's go!"
"Wha-"
"No need to be shy!"
She links her arms to me and drag me inside hurriedly.
"Phia!"
Two more girls called out to her. The first girl has long black hair and gray eyes while the other girl has short curly green hair and amber eyes.
"Lianne! Valerie! You're already here!"
Phia went to greet them before introducing me.
"By the way, she's Delie La Eclaus! She's the eldest daughter and second child of the La Eclaus family"
"It's nice to meet you all!"
I bowed my head to them and they all nodded and bowed too.
"I'm Lianne Ze Hamlan! I'm the eldest daughter and first child of the Ze Hamlan family"
The black haired girl introduced herself.
"I'm Valerie Ul Katerinn, the second daughter and the second child of the Ul Katerinn family!"
The green haired girl said.
"It seems we're all from a count family! We can make ourselves a club called daughters of a count club!"
Phia suggested to which made everyone laugh.
Ha...ha...ha.. .
Phia...Lianne...Valerie...all their names sounds so familiar...

Do I know people from my previous life who has the same name as them?

We all enjoy talking to each other when we noticed that the host of this party, young lady Anne Vi Claross is still not here to start the party.
They are the ones who noticed actually, I just ate some snacks on the table beside us.
The tea party will only start officially when the host gathers us together and drink tea to converse and introduce ourselves.
Where is Anne Vi Claross?
"Hey, isn't he Anne's older brother?"
We peek outside the garden's gate to reveal a young boy practicing his wooden sword.
Phia pointed at him who has a frown expression. He's outside the garden and was infront of their manor to practice.
So he is the famous older brother of Anne Vi Claross, I heard he is not very sociable like Anne and rather be in the shadows.
His red hair and green eyes greatly resembles someone. He looks like the boy version of the girl I met on the market last week.
He has a very sour face even when practicing.
"He's quite handsome right?"
Valerie commented and giggling as he admired the frowning young boy. He noticed that I'm staring at him.
I was so focus on looking at him since he looks like the girl from last week before he noticed that we are staring at him from the other side.
The two of us made a short eye contact but he quickly looks away from us.
He looks annoyed.
"Kyaaa!! I'm sorry!"
We heard a voice of a young girl who screamed before she was pushed on the garden's grassy ground by a girl who has two other girls behind her.
The girl sitting on the ground is very scared. The one in the middle is very pretty, she has purple hair and red eyes.
"Don't you know how much that dress cost?!"
The girl from the right side shouted at the young girl who was about to cry.
Geez! Too much drama for kids.
"I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to!"
The girl was directing her eyes at the stain on the dress the one in the girl in the middle has.
"You should be sorry! Lady Daphne's dress is worth more than your life!"
The girl on the left side told the girl on the ground.
"Daphne?"
I whispered.
"She's Daphne Il Viva, the only daughter of the Il Viva Duke family!"
Phia whispered to me.
"I heard she just recently got engaged with the crown prince that's why her ego got bigger"
Valerie said.
What? A girl her age is already engage? Maybe that's normal for higher nobles since she's a duke's daughter and the fiance of the crown prince.
Look at those sharp red eyes! She has a beautiful Violet hair though, ughh! Why does her hair color have to be my favorite color?
I looked at the girl who was on the ground. Her clothes are not very fancy compared to the others.
"I'm surprised that a daughter of a lowly viscount is invited here"
Daphne girl raised her shoes in front of the crying girl.
"I'll forgive you if you kiss my shoes"
The two other girls behind her snicker. She was shaking and was about to kiss Daphne's foot when someone speak.
"It appears that there's a commotion here, lady Daphne"
A girl suddenly interrupts them.
Wait, that girl!
She feels familiar but her red hair is facing me so I can't see her face.
"Anne Vi Claross, I'm only lecturing this girl for spilling her tea on me..."
Oh really? I can't see any stain in that dress!
Anne Vi Claross looked at the crying girl and smiled.
"She's my guest here and everyone in this party is my responsibility, am I right? You know that since you will also become a responsible person when you became the empress "
"That's..."
Daphne became silent and just smiled back at her. She looks satisfied.
"I do know that, I'm a duke's daughter after all! I'm also the future empress! I'll leave her to you, besides I still have plenty more dresses with me!"
Daphne said confidently before she and her followers leaves at the scene.
"I will, lady Daphne"
Wow! So she's Anne Vi Claross! She's so cool and calm! She's really mature for her age.
Instead of having a feud with Daphne, Anne told her that she's the one responsible since this is her party. Daphne should be angry with her instead but Daphne doesn't want that.
Having a conflict with a duke's family is really awful but even if lady Daphne has a higher status than Anne, she's still from a marquis family who has a good relationship with the imperial family. So lady Daphne can't easily look down on Anne.
Anne smiles and went to the girl to reach her hands.
"Are you alright?"
She nodded and took Anne's hand but she's looking down.
"I'm sorry"
The weeping girl told her before wiping her tears.
"Don't be! I should be the one apologizing for being late! Why don't you enjoy the rest of the day?"
Anne tries to calm her to which she nodded and went to a table near her.
After that, Anne finally looks behind to face all her guests.
I knew it! That's why she feels familiar!
