Roaring explosions that made it sound like the earth was being split apart rang out, lighting up the sky like fireworks. The collision resulted in the huge flame-lightning ball getting absolutely obliterated by the giant beam with great ease.

Andrew Smith, upon seeing this, let out a relieved sigh. For a moment, he doubted his god's powers, and for that, he couldn't forgive himself. His faith had been shook, and he was guilty of not believing. But right now, he told himself that he wouldn't doubt his god; not even for a second.

At least, that's what he thought. But right when the flame-lightning ball got destroyed, a figure jumped out of it. His hands were stretched forward, swords gripped tightly, as he came face to face with the monster that was in the middle of firing the beam.
