Chapter 12: The woman
Nick followed the woman, who he quickly found out had no idea where she was going. She turned a corner Nick knew was a dead end by looking at the map. Nick didn't really know who the woman was but he wanted to find out. He followed the woman and pretended to be a puddle on the ground, seven guards turned the corner following the woman as well. They walked past Nick but before they could do anything Nick reformed behind them drawing his sword. He pointed his blade around the leader's neck, "I would suggest you all leave".
Guard Leader:Who are you and what were you two doing outside of the palace walls.
Nick: I don't know about the woman but why would i tell you?
Woman: Uhhhh, can't we all just ignore what happened
Guard 1: No by entering the vicinity of the royal palace you must be placed under arrest
Nick: You may not have noticed but the woman is right, i do have your leader at sword point
Guard Leader: Kill him it doesn't matter if i lose my life, i can be replaced
Nick:Wow selfless but are you sure your guards think the same after all some of you must have families, do you really want to die.
Woman: No one needs to be killed we can all just get along
Guard 5: Haha, the leader is right a mysterious woman and a fight, this kind of fun doesn't come often
Guard Leader: that wasn't what i meant but....ATTACK!
Just as the Leader turned to swing at Nick, Nick slit his throat. The guards immediately swung there swords toward Nick. Nick was still not completely physical so the swords splashed through him like he was syrup. Nick swung his sword down cutting through his shoulder, but swung twice more as the guards were surprised by what had happened when they attacked Nick. He killed 3 of the guards easily, 2 was on the ground bleeding out and the last had a knife to the woman's throat. "Stop where you are or ill kill this woman", Nick frowned looked at the guard and the unhooded woman. "you do know thats the princess right?", I mean with her hood down you can clearly see it is her. The guard looked at the woman with the corner of his eye, and then pissed himself... this was the guard 5. The man then plunged his knife into his stomach while whimpering. If Guard 5 was captured he would be tortured by the sultan for threatening the princess.
Nick and the princess just stared surprised at his decision, but before the man could die Nick stabbed him along with the other two die guards. "why did you do that they were already dead." Nick glared at the woman, she gulped "What are you?" Nick took a second to think about it "i am a creature known as a mimic, i am a rather young one. You are the Princess Jasper correct?" "Yes, and thank you for saving me. I should never have left the castle." He looked at Jasper for a moment "Can you look away so i can become human again and put on clothes". Jasper gasped and turned, Nick the got dressed and put away his sword. "Okay, well ill be going i need to leave." "Wait, you said your young how old are you?" Nick paused, "Well I guess i am 2 days old, how old are you?" Nick decided he would start new, because he didn't know much about the whole book of destines mystery. "I am 14", " Your 14, thats pretty young no wonder you don't want to marry." Just as Nick was leaving she blurted out, "WELL, I AM OLDER THAN YOU." Nick smirked as he left checking his interface.

SpadesPenndragon I made her younger to use as a plot point later her original age is supposed to be 16, which is honestly still really young to get married at, making the whole movie a little more creepy when you think about how Aladdin is 18 and Jafar is like 35ish. Even in the movie Jafar is stated to be "so old" by the sultan, when Jafar suggests he marries princess Jasmine.
