I try to convince her that my mother is wrong. Since she would fight back too violently, it would be unable to capture her. The disease about which I had long worried about my father was confirmed to me today. Many individuals I knew tragically lost their lives to this terrible illness, but I also knew many who overcame it and went on to enjoy full, healthy lives.
