Chapter 4: Skill Book
This sure is a lot to take in all at once but this is what I've always dreamed about to be in a system novel. Now its my life! This is so exciting, and I seem to have gotten a helpful system that actually explains stuff to me. What should be the first thing that I attempt to make. I want to see if I can create a skill book. If I can give myself any skill that I can think of that will be so overpowered. I'll just try something simple like guitar playing.
I placed my hand on the console like the system said I should then I start to picture just a simple bound book that looks like a mix between a fantasy skill book and a textbook I know from school. The simple words listed on the cover is skill book. Now I just think when used it enters my head and I know the skill. I list the skill as learn the basics of guitar.
[System] Skill book that teaches how the basics of how to play the guitar. To create the creation points required are 4. Do you wish to create? Yes/No
I don't have any points so No. This basic skill would require me to wait 4 points for enough points. I could probably learn that on my own in that amount of time. This may not be as easy as I thought. System how do I get more creation points faster?
[System] Everything in creation has a certain portion of the power of creation. Creation power is more concentrated in certain things like energy or rare matter because it took more power to create therefor there is more power left in the material. The five pedestals that you see are for that purpose. You must gather pieces of creation to help generate more creation points. The more you level up the temple the more pedestals you will unlock. Remember the rarer the piece of creation the more that you will get from it. I suggest you start with a basic fire as it is relatively easy to get. You can change out your sources monthly.
I have a torch lighter from the store. I wonder since it is blue flame will it give me more points. I walk up to the pedestal pull out the torch lighter and light it at the center.
[System] Would you like to bind the common blue flame? Yes/No
Yes!
[System] Congratulations. Not only have you acquired a flame, but it is better than the most common type of flame. You will now receive five creation points every month. You have now completed the tutorial and will receive the welcome package. Do you wise to open it now?
Yes!
[System] You have received 4 stat points and 5 creation points. Work hard now host you must fill all five pedestals before I can tell you how to upgrade the temple.
This is awesome. I think if this was a game I would want more of mage build going on but it's not I can really die if I'm not strong enough so my plan for my "build" will be get as strong as peak human then lean towards mage like stats if I can get mage skills.
