Blizzardpaw was already awake. She was just too excited to receive her warrior name. She's worked very hard for this and she passed her assessment. The question is when would the ceremony happen though? ๐๐ต ๐ฅ๐ฆ๐ง๐ช๐ฏ๐ช๐ต๐ฆ๐ญ๐บ ๐ธ๐ช๐ญ๐ญ ๐ฉ๐ข๐ฑ๐ฑ๐ฆ๐ฏ ๐ต๐ฐ๐ฅ๐ข๐บ... She thought. Blizzardpaw got up from her nest in the Apprentices' den. She looked at Damppaw peacefully sleeping next to her. It wouldn't be long before he became a warrior too. ๐๐ฏ๐ฅ ๐ต๐ฉ๐ฆ๐ฏ ๐ธ๐ฆ ๐ค๐ฐ๐ถ๐ญ๐ฅ... ๐๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ฆ, ๐'๐ญ๐ญ ๐ต๐ฉ๐ช๐ฏ๐ฌ ๐ข๐ฃ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ต ๐ต๐ฉ๐ข๐ต ๐ญ๐ข๐ต๐ฆ๐ณ ๐ฐ๐ฏ... She happily thought and trotted outside of the den. ๐ ๐ธ๐ฐ๐ฏ๐ฅ๐ฆ๐ณ ๐ธ๐ฉ๐ข๐ต ๐๐ต๐ต๐ฆ๐ณ๐ฑ๐ฆ๐ญ๐ต ๐ช๐ด ๐ฅ๐ฐ๐ช๐ฏ๐จ? Blizzardpaw thought and decided that she would head on over to the medicine den. Once she got in there, she saw Otterpelt, Rushstreak, Sandcoat, and Thistlepaw.
"What's going on here?" Blizzardpaw meowed, every cat now looking at her.
"Hi, Blizzardpaw!" Thistlepaw mewed back.
Sandcoat cleared his throat, "As you might see, Rushstreak has my kits in her belly."
Rushstreak looked away with a blush.
Blizzardpaw gasped, "Really?! I'm so happy for you two!" Her tail lashed as she gave an enormous smile.
"Well, Rushstreak, you can still train Damppaw for a little while before you have to move to the Nursery. Just don't push yourself okay?" Otterpelt meowed.
"Thank you Otterpelt," Rushstreak replied and padded out of the den Sandcoat behind her.
"If you need me you know where to find me!" Otterpelt called to them then she turned to Thistlepaw. "We must talk to Shellstar and your current mentor Stormfish first before you can become a medicine cat apprentice," She meowed.
"Okay!" She replied happily.
"Thistlepaw you will be a medicine cat?" Blizzardpaw questioned her.
"Yeah, if Shellstar and Stormfish are okay with it! I've had an enormous interest in helping the clan in other ways..." She mewed.
"That's great! I wish you the best of luck with it!" Blizzardpaw purred and smiled at her.
Thistlepaw smiled back, "Thank you!"
"Cats of Driftclan, please gather around the Tide Pool for a clan meeting!" It was Shellstar who yelled from outside.
๐๐ต'๐ด ๐ง๐ช๐ฏ๐ข๐ญ๐ญ๐บ ๐ต๐ช๐ฎ๐ฆ! Blizzardpaw thought with excitement as she headed outside the medicine den to the Tide Pool. All of Driftclan was gathered around the Tide Pool now. Most knew what it was for.
"I have gathered you all here today because there will be a new warrior. Blizzardpaw please step forward," Shellstar meowed.
Blizzardpaw stepped up to the Tide Pool.
"Blizzardpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and protect Driftclan, even if it means your life?" The clan leader asked.
"I do!"
"Then by the powers of Starclan, I give you your warrior name. Blizzardpaw, from this moment you will be known as Blizzardfluff. Starclan honors your kindness, and we welcome you as a full warrior of Driftclan," He meowed.
"You may dip your nose in the Tide Pool," Shellstar added.
Blizzardfluff dipped her nose into the Tide Pool and then took it out.
"Blizzardfluff! Blizzardfluff! Blizzardfluff!" The clan cheered her name as she proudly puffed her chest out. Then she padded over to Sandcoat, "Congratulations Blizzardfluff!" he said, purring happily.
"Thank you Sandcoat!" She replied.
"I'm glad you were my apprentice, hopefully, the skills I passed down to you will be passed to another apprentice," the cream furred tom smiled.
"If I get an apprentice one day, I'll make sure of it!" Blizzardfluff meowed.
Sandcoat chuckled, "I hope you do, I'll see you in the warriors' den Blizzardfluff," He replied and headed back.
Blizzardfluff then saw Sagethorn and Icejaw pad up to her with smiles on their faces. Blizzardfluff also gained a wide smile on hers and ran up to both of them. She nuzzled up against them both. "Sagethorn, Icejaw! I'm a warrior now!" she exclaimed.
Sagethorn nodded, "Well, we saw you become one Blizzardfluff!" She purred.
"I am so very proud of you Blizzardfluff, I couldn't be any happier! My kit is all grown up now!" Icejaw held tears back as he nuzzled her.
"And your fur is much more fluffy now! How will you even get it clean?" Sagethorn meowed.
"Sagethorn!" Blizzardfluff blushed.
"Hehe, sorry I just had to!" Sagethorn replied and giggled.
