Chapter 223: Flashes of memories

"What is happening?" 

He loosened a few buttons of his shirt, breathing heavily. His instinct was hinting him to do something and break free of that restriction but he didn't know how to do that or what the restriction actually was in the first place. 

Suddenly another vision made its way through his brain. It was not in flashes like the previous one but stronger and more vivid. He saw her beautiful face, smiling at him. Her bright emerald eyes were looking up at him with so much joy, so much hope. He saw a necklace in her neck that matched the one he possessed. She was in a white dress and there were flowers and a bright white light all around them. 

He touched her cheek, he kissed her soft lips, he held her hands. Suddenly it was all black one again, dark and empty. 

"How?" He whispered, bewildered. "Who is she?" He rubbed his temples roughly, trying his hardest to remember what happened next to that.
