Chapter 159: Haunting emptiness

"Belle please stop, listen to me."

She was running through the corridors and his voice was continuously following her like a haunted demon. She was sure it would haunt her forever but right at that moment all she wanted was to get away from him. Get away from everything related to him, his haunting eyes, his charming smiles, his sugar coated lies. 

"I said stop," He suddenly grabbed her by wrapping his arm around her waist and pulling her to his chest. "Please let me say something in my defence. Don't do this to me." He snuggled her neck from behind, sniffing her hair habitually. 

She was numb all over but for a moment, only for a moment a surge of blazing anger ran through her blood making its way to her head which caused her to detach herself from him with an animalistic force and the next thing that echoed through the empty hallway was the voice of a slap.
