Chapter 49: 2743 The Perfect Training
As the sun rose in the real world so did Shi Feng as he exited his gaming cabin.
"Damn my head again." Shi Feng said in pain and grabbing his aching head. A few days ago his head would start to hurt and only after drinking a life elixir would this pain be soothed. Luckily he had the immortal drinks and as he downed one the pain disappeared completely and he felt relaxed again.
"I really have to do something about this or else I'm going to end up in danger" Shi Feng said. He is suffering a huge problem. Normally grandmasters develop their body faster than their minds and while high ranking nutrient fluids are good for them it isn't a necessity to live as their body gradually creates hormones and efficiently breaks down nutrients from the foods they eat to support their developing brains. For Shi Feng he is facing the opposite. His brain is developing much faster than his body, and because of that his body isn't producing enough of the things needed to support his brain. This is why his life is so dependent on these nutrient fluids now and if he doesn't drink at least one S rank nutrient fluid a day or rest in his gaming cabin he could end up in the hospital. Thankfully Lee Jun had taught him a breathing technique that allows him to absorb nutrients faster and more efficiently to circumvent some of these problems. After meditating for two hours using the breathing technique Lee Jun taught him Shi Feng was ready to start his day. He went and trained the internal members and took care of the workshops businesses and Heaven Rumble training center businesses as well. This is the tournament season and Lei Bo and Lee Jun are busy training the center's top disciples. Winning these tournaments will finally qualify Zero Wing as a powerful corporation that other top companies won't want to offend. So Shi Feng decided to help with some of the decibels training.
"Hall master, a package came for you" Ling Jing informed him.
"Great its finally here! Han Yifeng does not disappoint." Shi Feng opened the package and it was seven diamond encrusted badge as well as a black token with a golden ball in the middle. This is a ticket to enter the ancient families martial arts competition that is happening in about three weeks. The Fang family is one of those ancient martial arts families and that is why they stand at the top of the city. Shi Feng plans to crash the tournament and show all who are eyeing his guild what dangers they will face if they act out of line.
When night hit Shi Feng logged back into gods domain.
"Snow, Aqua, have we gathered everybody?" Shi Feng asked
"Yes Guild leader, we managed to gather all Dark God legion members and reserve members as well as promising internal members. This amounts to over 2000 people" Gentle Snow said.
She wondered what Shi Feng had planned; they just finished a difficult raid.
"Guild leader what are we going to do with all these people, do you want to capture a town?" Aqua asked. Currently the dark gods legion should be helping her family capture new towns and raiding dungeons, this really slowed the guilds development.
"There aren't enough refinement realm experts in the guild, so I'm going to take you guys some place that could help improve your combat standards quickly." He said.
The biggest problem for developing super powers is the lack of peak and apex experts. While reaching the flowing water realm is guaranteed for all those in the refinement realm as long as they work hard the same can not be said for the void and domain realm which requires time, talent, and luck. Currently Zero Wing has 46 void realm experts and this is split among the east and west continent and while a few of the guilds flowing water realm experts can fight void realm experts thanks to the realms of truth it's not enough. He's hoping that the place he is taking them could allow a large number of people to break through, after all in his past life he had entered the half step refinement realm thanks to this place and that was after the various super powers and first rate powers used up all the resources and left scraps for guilds like shadow. When they had used that place first rate guilds saw a spike in refinement realm experts not to mention superpowers. Now it is his turn to take advantage of it. Everyone went on a airship following Shi Feng's airship.
8 airships flew through the sky and to make sure no one followed them Shi Feng used a tier 4 invisibility scroll to disguise them. The crew ended up flying to an island in the Chaos sea. This island was small but protected by level 160 and higher sea monsters. Against multiple airships and powerful tier four player these monsters were barely a threat. Only the mythics caused problems and Shi Feng would make sure to avoid any tier 5 monsters. After about eight hours of traveling many of the lowered leveled members leveled up at least once. The team then ended up in front of a seven colored portal and they could feel the absurdly dense mana coming out of the portal. The portal made the ambient mana rival that of stone forest city.
"Ok everyone stand it this magic array for one minute and then enter the portal." Shi Feng said.
There is such a thing as too much mana the mana inside this portal is so high that it can cause mana poisoning and those whose mental fortitude or physique isn't strong enough can get sick. Everyone did as Shi Feng said and after a minute of standing in the array it felt like they were in a manaless environment. Shi Feng and the 2000 or so Zero Wing members then entered the portal.
As they entered they felt like they were in jelly although their minds have never been clearer they could barely move and see their surroundings, only those in the refinement realm or above can move with relative ease in this jelly of mana. Suddenly a large variety of monster who had also entered the portal attracted to the mana appeared and started attacking everyone. While the monsters normal attacks barely did damage due to their restricted movements their skills and spells became much more powerful. Fighting was hard to do.
Shi Feng was stunned, he was expecting a fog of mana that restricted movement and senses but this is just ridiculous.
"Guild leader I'm afraid our non refinement experts won't be able to train here properly." Fire Dance said. She didn't know how this would help someone enter the refinement realm if they could barely move. Only those already in the realm can get good training in here. At Least they can work on some mana control.
"No this is perfect! Think about it, only those with refined control of their bodies can move well here, that means they just have to keep practicing how to move and fight and once they are capable of moving comfortably here they have reached the refinement realm." She Feng said ecstatically. Now he understood why there was an explosion of refinement realm and above experts in the past. The superpowers who managed to discover this place kept sending their members here to train and as more people trained the less dense this mana jelly became until it became a fog and no longer that useful for them. If Shi Feng had come here when the mana was jelly he could have entered the refinement realm in his past life. Suddenly everyone realized what Shi Feng was talking about, and they all started focusing on how the move their body as they fight trying to refine their actions. Those who were already in the refinement realm tried to pay attention to their opponents and observe their every action, even though they could move in the jelly of mana they could barely put up a fight against their opponents with out trying to predict their next attacks. This would help them reach the next realm. As for the flowing water realm experts they were tasked with fighting multiple enemies and this forced them to rely more on their other senses rather than their sight to deal with the onslaught of attacks from multiple directions. The void realm experts in the group went deeper into the other world where the jelly was much denser and their senses were impeded much more. By fighting in this environment the void realm experts sharpened their senses and could feel their surroundings better.
"Aqua, your team will stay here and make sure everything goes well, for the people who are forced to log out give them a S rank nutrient fluid. Everyone else with me, we're going to see what treasures are here." Shi Feng ordered.
Unfortunately domain realm experts don't get such a huge benefit in here. A domain realm expert can move just fine in this environment and their senses weren't really affected all that much. Shi Feng suspected this place can only train someone to the middle stages of the void realm, so instead of wasting time they should go and search for some treasures. Shi Feng has no idea if this portal full of mana was man made or naturally occurring but whatever can be in such mana dense environments must be a treasure.
