Si Ning couldn't register the impact when he landed so he didn't feel any pain, his eyes only widened because all that happened came rushing to him like a hit and a kind of extreme fear gripped him as he tilted his head up, his heart kept pounding slowly due to not knowing what to expect, his eyes met Xiu Zhicheng, the gaze his husband was giving him was something he was familiar with, a gentle gaze like a still pool and relief was written all over Xiu Zhicheng's face as their heartbeat in sync against their chest.
