Chapter 5: The Collab
After I made it to the boys' place and settled in I got a text.
Brother Joe💥: Hey Maggie, just wondering if you wanted to come hang out at mine for a bit? We can do a collab for your channel and mine if you want?
Magazine🌹: Hiya Joe I just got settled into the new place! Sure thing, I'll be over in 15.
Maggie's POV
"Conor, Jack! I'll be back soon, just going to Joe's for a bit!" I had no clue as to where in the flat the boys were, so I just shouted out to nobody.
"Oright! See ya!" I assumed that was Conor, since the voice was so familiar. All of a sudden, I heard rapid footsteps coming my way.
"Let me walk you out." I looked up to see beautiful blue eyes that I could get lost in for hours. Jacks eyes. "Oh, em, yeah!" What the hell was this boy doing to me? Jack linked arms with me and walked me down to my car.
Jack's POV
Alright Jack, man up and ask her!
"Could I get your number? In case you need anything." As soon as I heard myself, I almost face palmed myself. Until she said "Oh! Of course!" SCORE! You did it mate! "Great thanks. See you soon then." I waved and watched her leave the car park.
Maggie's POV
As soon as I was on my way, I did a little happy dance and smiled to myself. " YOU DID IT! YOU GOT THE HOTTIE'S NUMBER!" My smile went from ear to ear.
Magazine🌹: On my waaaayyyyy!
Brother Joe💥: Seeee youuuuuu!
I smiled and drove to Joe's. When I reached
Joe's, I was still grinning like a fool, but I didn't have a fuck to give.
*knock knock*
Joe opened the door in an instance. "MAGGIE!!" "JOE!" Joe picked me up and spun me around. "Wow! It's been such a long time!!" We both smiled and hugged. " I know right! I've missed you Joe." I ruffled his hair and walked into the sitting room. "Oi! You ruined my hair!!" I laughed at his whining. "Oh, you'll live. Now come over here, we need to catch up!" I sat on his couch and patted a spot next to me. "So how've you been?" I smiled sweetly. "I've been good. How about yourself? I heard it was your birthday today!" Joe was so giddy when he mentioned that, whereas I cringed. "Joe, can we not speak about that please?"
He gave me a confused look." Why, what's happened?" I took a deep breath. I explained everything to Joe, he had the right to know. "Maggie, I had no idea. I'm so sorry for bringing it up." Joe hugged me for what seemed like hours. "Now wipe those tears from your eyes, we have a collab to film!" I let out a small chuckle and set everything up.
First, we filmed the "Inuendo Bingo" for Joe's channel. Let's just say we were drenched. "Hiya everyone! It's your girl Mags, and I'm back with another video! So today, I'm here with the famous Thatcher Joe!!" Joe slowly entered wearing a funny face. He quietly said hello. "Now that we've got your intro out of the way, let's talk about what we're doing today."
"Yeah, what are we doing to do today? You haven't even told me!" Joe shouted.
"Well, dearest Joe, you are going to be doing my makeup!" I dropped a makeup bag on his lap.
"Ooh I like this!" Joe gave me an evil smile. I gave the camera a "Help Me" look.
*5 minutes later*
As I looked in the mirror, I was terrified at what I'd seen. " WHAT THE FUCK JOE!" Not only he'd had poked me in the eye several times with mascara, but he'd also managed to get mascara on my chin somehow. "Sorry." He said in a sarcastic tone. "I'll get you back for this Sugg, just you wait." I said in a monotoned voice. "Well, thank you very much for watching, please like, comment and subscribe to join the family! I love you all and see you in the next video!" I blew a kiss to the camera and turned it off. "Well that was fun!" Joe smiled. "Yeah totally! If you don't count how much makeup you wasted and how I look like a clown on drugs." I said angrily and left the room. "CALM DOWN LITTLE MISS MOODY!" Joe shouted out at me. A moment later I heard a ping coming from my phone.
Jack🤘🏻: Hey, just checking up on you.🙂
Maggie❤️: Aww thanks, I'm leaving soon. I should be home in about 15.
Jack🤘🏻: Okay great, see you soon.
I smiled to myself. "Joe, my boy, I think I'm going to head out."
"Alrighty! See you round'!" With that, I left Joe's and went home.
