David sat just staring at void whilst his mind traveled to the story Jacob had told him.

Such a horrible past. He thought feeling thankful for having parents as his. They loved him, they encouraged him and they never hit him abusively. Never.

"Dinner is ready!" Jacob exclaimed snapping David out of his thoughts.

David twisted his office chair around. "Oh yeah." He said, before he got up walking out just after Jacob.

When they got to the dinning room the table looked deliciously dressed.

Deborah wait with what David saw as her obsessive grin of success.

"Wow did you do that? Or was it Tim?" Jacob asked.

"Eat before anymore word is said." Debbie said and Jacob pull a sit for himself in silence. She was holding a huge a wooden spoon she could hit him out of anger, that won't be the first time.

"Cottage pie? Seriously?" David asked with a raised brow once he had tasted it.
