Chapter 278: Everything Is Over

Jiang Ruolan's eyelids were heavy, and she could not open them even after trying for so long. She tried again slowly and finally caught a glimpse of the light, and the pungent smell of disinfectant assaulted her nose.

Was she in the hospital?

Jiang Ruolan subconsciously touched her belly.

"You're awake?" A voice lightly echoed from the side of the sickbed. Moments later, someone adjusted the blanket on her body.

Jiang Ruolan turned around and saw Jiang Yijun sitting on the edge of the bed. She let out a breath but kept her hands on her lower abdomen with an anxious look in her eyes.

Seeing her expression, Jiang Yijun knew that for her right now, other than this child, there was nothing else that could make her so nervous. He pursed his lips and said lightly, "The child is fine, but not you. The doctor said that you are anemic, mentally weak and that your fetus is unstable."
