The maid shrieked and got up to run away out of the back door but was stopped by Nina.
"Where are you going, Lass?" asked Nina with an Irish accent. It was kinda surprising but then again, Nina is Irish. Come have a spot of tea here with some biscuits. Oh please do!"
The maid sat down and shivered she knew that Jin was outside and was coming into the house.
"Well you're in for it now," said Shasha. "Here he comes."
Shasha went to open the front door and in came Jin with Lars and Lee. Jin had the same blank expression on his face. Shasha wondered if he ever smiled or at least have other facial expressions. The maid started screaming now and Nina gave her slap. Jin walked towards Merisa and calmly sat down on the sofa and crossed his arms.
"So that Mishima actually hired you to dig into Nina's stuff huh," said Jin. "That isn't very surprising since he actually sent Lucky Chloe to spy on us. So what kinda information did you give him?"
The maid kept silent and Nina slapped her back. Lee suddenly spoke.
"No no don't hit the lady," he said. "Leave it to me."
So he sat next to her and started to talk softly to her. She burst into tears and told him everything. He turned to them grinning widely.
"See I told you that I could do it," he said. "Excellent!"
Lars put his hand on his forehead because he was kinda annoyed that Lee was cheerful at a situation like this.
"Well then what did she say?" asked Lars. "We couldn't hear everything because she said it through tears."
"She gave him the information about you starting the war," said Lee. "That's why he was prepared. That's not all she gave him. Sometimes she just gave him random important information."
"Hmm I see..." said Nina. "But I never noticed anything missing."
"That's because I snapped a picture of them," said Merisa sniffing. "I put them back where there were after that."
"So you are just as wicked as that wretched man," said Jin with anger. "And cunning enough to act as if nothing happened.
Just as he said that, his skin became a horrid grey, horns came out of the sides of his head, and there were weird tattoos on his forehead. There was a red eye on the middle of the tattoo too. Then to Shasha's horror, big black wings tore through the back of his suit, tearing his clothes to pieces leaving only his pants. There was tattoo on his chest too.
Shasha has started screaming when she saw this. She had thought that Jin was just a normal person who seldom smiled. Jin turned to her angrily but Nina stopped him.
"No, Jin don't," said Nina. "You better calm down and think things clearly."
But Jin can't because this time it had come out by itself and Jin wasn't able to control it. Nina didn't know what to do so she took out a photo of Jun from his wallet which had dropped out. She showed it to him and he started holding his head and screamed in a demonic voice. By this time Shasha ran away to her room upstairs and took cover there. Jin had returned to his normal form and had fainted. Lars and Lee were helping him up and Nina went to look for Shasha. She found her trembling under the covers in her bed.
"Shasha you can come out now," said Nina. "It's all over now. Jin's back to normal."
Shasha came out kinda scared.
"What's happened to him?" she asked. "What's become of him? He looked like a demon!"
"Well it's in his blood," said Nina. "It's not his fault that he has the Devil Gene. He's trying really hard to get rid of it."
"Oh..." said Shasha. "He's back to normal right?"
"Yes he is," said Shasha. "He's resting now."
So Shasha followed Nina back into the living room. Jin was now lying on the sofa. Lars and Lee was next to him. Shasha was still kinda scared but then decided to just see what happens.
Jin woke up and looked around. He saw that Shasha was still looking scared so he kinda smiled?
"It's ok it's nothing," he said. "I'm born this way."
"Yeah Nina told me about it..." said Shasha. Is there a way to overcome it?"
"Sadly no," said Jin. "But then if I think of my mother, the Devil just goes away."
"Maybe it's because of love?" said Shasha. "Maybe because the devil doesn't like love and light?"
Jin shrugged. Then Nina asked.
"So what are we gonna do now?" she asked. "How do we know what Kazuya is planning?"
"Who is he anyway?" asked Shasha, not knowing about these problems. "And why does he want to spy on you?"
"Well..." began Nina. "That man is Jin's father. He is also the head of G Corporation which is trying to destroy us."
"Oh please don't say he's my father," said Jin. "He only fell in love with my mom and had me with her."
"So what are we gonna do again?" asked Shasha, a little confused about everything. "How do we know what they are planning?"
"I'll ask Julia Chang about it," said Lee suddenly. "You know that she works at G Corp but gives me vital information, right?"
"I thought she was a vlogger?" asked Jin. "She was always vlogging during the 7th tournament."
"She does both," said Lee. "She works in G Corp but also vlogs."
After he said that, he took out his phone and started calling Julia. She picked up and the others only heard a few words and a murmur on the other end.
"Hello? Miss Chang!" they heard him say. "Is there any new information from the Corporation? Oh really? Excellent!Okay I'll send a few people to attend."
Lee hung up and turned to them smiling widely.
"Julia said that G Corp is going to be announcing a big dinner party to celebrate the death anniversary of Heihachi Mishima," said Lee. "She says that the public will be invited too."
"They have celebration dinners?" asked Jin a little surprised. "They do dinner parties in a company like that?"
"Well apparently he organises one every year but only for his employees," said Lee. "But this year he wants to invite the public too because he is very happy about it."
"Very good son," said Nina. "We better be on our guard, he might plan something fishy."
"Yeah that's right," said Jin. "We'll have to send people he doesn't know."
"Now who could that be," said Shasha. "Is there anyone in the tournament that he doesn't know?"
"Well," said Nina. "You of course!"
"Excellent," said Lee again.
"Me?" said Shasha. "But I can't go alone..."
