Chapter 83: Chapter 9

Morning felt better; it felt better because it came with a rather warm feeling and a measure of peace unlike he had felt the day before. Unknown to Vukan, sleep had taken him away some moments before midnight and while the hard cold floor was nothing to write home about as regards comfort, it had done the job Lee's treacherous bed wouldn't have done. 

Slowly gaining conscious and becoming aware of the fact he was on the cold bathroom floor, he snuggled and curled into a ball, hoping to remain there for as long as possible. 

"Vukan", someone called in a sonorous and quite tender tone. "Wake up, Vukan". 

The sonorous tone hurriedly turned into a tormenting one and he recognized it for who owned it without a doubt. 

"Fuck!" he screamed atop his voice while he stared at Lee standing over him with an axe in her hand.
