Chapter 71: Chapter 40

Oliver wasn't sure about how long he had been out for, but he remembered everything that had happened down to when he was wheeled into the hospital. Sounds came peering through his consciousness but he barely saw anyone. He had heard it all; words of hope, tears of sorrow and endless streams of pain being pelted by unknown lips. 

His eyes finally found life again and they parted to look into the room he had been in for some days. Bleached walls and citrus air freshener hit his nostrils which he struggled to ignore as he isn't much find of strong scents.  Standing in the corner, in bright blue shirt and darkened expression engulfing his face was none other than Bruce. Quite frankly, that wasn't the person he had hoped to see. He had hoped to wake up with someone else by his side; his lover and boyfriend, Vukan.
