Chapter 44: Chapter 13

The day slowly wound down and events hurried through as though they too were eager to end the day. Work had been busier than expected and the drive over had been longer than any of the duo could have anticipated as well. Road blocks made things worse and while he had chosen to drive in place of his wife, it was now becoming a decision he wished he had not opted for. 

Regardless, they were bound to get compensated for the day and its events, or at least, that was what they had planned and were hoping for. Being able sit and relax after a tiring day wasn't something they often got, but it was going to be different this time. It was a conscious effort, planned and stamped not just by his wife but by their guests as well.
