Chapter 5: New revealation
It's been 9 days since my training but still you've never opened that door for me. May I ask why is that. You provide everything that I ask for in this huge room but now I'm sick of this room. I spend my entire day in this room.
I hate to say this but I miss my school. I haven't attended any of my classes since you have brought me here. Aurel's frustration was distinctively visible through his words.
You were bullied in the school but here you can do anything you like, still you miss your school. Why?
It was better than this confinement.
What?
Yes, you're right I can do anything I like but does that mean I have to let go of my freedom. I was better off without you and your superpowers. (Tears rolling down his cheeks)
Dr. Tressa came down to him and wiped down the tears from his cheeks lovingly. Aurel, I know it's hard for you but I can tell you that you'll love it once you get acclimatized to this place. Besides, you and I both know what we are doing this all for.
Then why can't you show what is there behind that door. Can it be that you don't trust me.
It's not like we don't trust you it's just that it's still not time to let you see.
But still...….. Aurel could only say up to this when Major Giant hurriedly entered the room. Tension was seemingly visible and as soon as he entered, he said, "We have a big problem."
"What happened, why are you so tensed?" Dr. Tressa asked.
"They have approached us more aggressively than we thought."
"What do you mean, Major," Aurel asked.
"They are abducting more people than before and we have finally found out their real purpose and this is scary than destroying whole of the universe."
"Just tell us their real purpose, old man."
"We have received intel that the people they abducted were all found dead with no organs and no blood in their entire body."
"It's just as we thought, they are experimenting on them but why does it scare you," said Dr. Tressa.
"Yeah right, but guess what, they are trying to put life inside the dead," Major said.
"But how can a dead person be alive at the same time.
Wait, wait, wait, by any chance do you want to say that they are turning our people into zombies."
"Exactly, you got my point man."
"But how is that even possible. These things are what we have just seen in fictional movies, it's far from reality and you say they are turning people into zombies," Aurel argued.
"But I can't understand why are they turning people into zombies," Dr. Tressa asked.
"They want to make other races their slaves but no planet is ready to accept their supremacy and this is resulting in huge loss in their resources and if this depletion of their resources goes on then there would be scarcity of resources for them and since they would destroy other planets they also can't use their resources as well," major replied.
"Ohh, so now they want to utilize other's resources," said Dr. Tressa.
"Not only that, they want to make an army of zombies who would do anything under their command."
"But how can a dead person become a zombie, Aurel said.
I mean, this is totally against nature and how can a person still walk when he doesn't even have any brain or heart let alone other essential organs."
"Believe it, cause you can't even imagine how much advanced we are in technology and speaking of Terrius, they are already a type 1 civilization and your planet doesn't even use half of earth's energy resources,"Major said.
"You're far behind in technology than us, so this would seem impossible to you but for us we just need a matter of days."
"Do you know what is a type 1 civilization," Dr. Tressa asked.
"Yes, I know, when a planet is capable of utilizing all of it's home planet's energy then it is known as a Type 1 civilization. Am I right."
"Hmm, right."
"So, what do we do next? Major."
"We'll need another new recruitment. So, go find another one like him.
For now we can do only this and I'll later decide what to do next.
I'm off now, I've some work. I'll meet you later."
"Don't worry, I'll find one very soon," said Dr. Tressa.
"We were thinking we only have to fight those bloody aliens but now I guess we have to fight with my own people," said Aurel.
"Why, are you afraid?"
"No, I was just wondering, will I be a human after this."
"For now you can only do only one thing and that is to train your abilities as much as you can.
Ah, by the way you've done a very good job until now. You couldn't feel it but you have gained expertise in your abilities."
"Really!" Aurel asked excitingly.
"Hmm, if you don't believe me then why don't you try it and see the difference."
Aurel first tried his telepathy skills and in just one try he was able to connect with Dr. Tressa.
He then tried his flying skills which was made possible by his specialized suit made up of graphene material and this time too he was also able to control himself and glided perfectly through all obstacles.
His physical strength also improved a lot. Before he was unable to stand any blow but this time he was not only able to stand more deadly blows but he was also able to dodge them successfully.
Aurel was delighted at his improvement and apologized to Dr. Tressa for his childish behaviour a while ago.
"You don't have to apologize.
I understand it's hard for you so it's obvious you'd sometimes lose your cool.
So don't worry an just train yourself and I'll find a new recruit."
"So, it will be going to be a two front war. Oh yeah, I can do this."
