Chapter 57: A Belief (2)

Sungho attempted to raise himself on his bed. Leaning his elbows, he pushed his body upwards and sat on the mattress. He brought a hand on his lips and immediately squinted his eyes on the burning sensation. When he could no longer resist his flaming tongue, he blew short guts of air through his mouth and hoped it would ease the red-hot smoldering flesh.

"Your Highness, You're awake! Thank heavens!" Chun, who appeared occupied by decreasing the number of blankets wrapped on him and putting them away, exclaimed in delight. "The physician just left. How are you feeling?"

Other than his tongue on fire, he could also feel the same way in his insides. The beads of sweat streamed down his forehead as he was scorching from the heat. He felt even warmer than the sweltering heat of summer.
