Face to Face With the New Boss

The kitchen was empty. Mikołaj drank two disposable cups of water and, holding the third, stood by the window. He wished that either of them could be opened because he wanted a breath of fresh air. Unfortunately in such high-rise buildings all air circulation was managed by air conditioning. Maybe it was because of this, or maybe because of this idiotic agreement that Skrzynecki felt as if he was in a cage. It was only the tenth floor, so the people below weren't that tiny, but Mikołaj felt strangely isolated from them and almost claustrophobic.

Mikołaj turned to face the kitchen. After all, he is not a weak man. He is not weak physically or mentally! He's young, strong, and goddamn it, he quit his job, so why should he care what happens to this company ?! He is not to be her savior, but the new director. It is the director who earns a correspondingly high salary than Skrzynecki. So the director has to worry, not him!
