Chapter 74: February 2013: Ignominy

Erdogan didn't know if the words coming out of Raeliana's mouth were the truth, or they were simply a way to appease him. At the end of the day, their relationship was now that of a customer and an escort.

He was never able to read the woman's mind, even when they were still together. But somehow, there was evident desperation in her voice that revealed the slightest of her emotions. And he could feel them, absorb them.
