Chapter 979: A Newcomer~

"Demon, I've brought your snacks~!" A cheerful voice echoed in the surrounding area, attracting the attention of a certain etcher who was currently resting in his stable.

The tall black horse who had been gazing at the greenery from his window turned in the direction of this voice he was quite familiar with.

Around this time each day, the one who had called his name would appear so Demon was already habituated to having his peaceful time disturbed by the person now walking in his direction.

With a subtle grin on his face and with a huge bucket in his hand, this newcomer came to a stop before the horse and nodded at him as a form of non-verbal greeting that the two shared.

Demon's attention, however, wasn't too much on this greeting as his eyes had strayed to the bucket from which an enticing scent was being permeated into the entire stable.
