When she heard her mother's enthusiastic voice, her first reaction was to scan the room and the one she found was not someone she had expected to see here.

Therefore, her startled expression was evident on her face but it soon morphed into joy as she strode towards the new figure she had just discovered in this room.

Grandpa Valente grinned mischievously, enjoying the look of surprise he had brought to his granddaughter's face as soon as their eyes had met.

Though when she came close to where he was seated, he opened his arms and pulled her in for a strong hug.
