Chapter 219: Chapter 219: Wary

Zane was standing in his bedroom when he felt the presence of someone behind him. He spun around, but was thrown back and down onto his bed, with a tender hand clasped over his mouth. His eyes widened and he spoke Ellie's name. His words were muffled by the petite digits that still rested on his lips and his chest began to rise and fall rapidly.

"You must be stressed," Ellie said. "I've never been able to sneak up on you like that." Zane shook the woman off his body violently. His lower half had begun to react, and he did not want her to notice. It would be awkward for them both; he assumed.

"How did you get in here?" He asked dumbly. He knew she would never tell him. For some reason she had always liked sneaking up on him and she had even joked in the past that it was because he was an easy target.
