Chapter 15: CHAPTER-15
"What are you doing Smyth? You are making me wet" said Lara as a joke.
"I am sorry Lara, but I thought that I have lost you" said Smyth.
"Don't worry, you will not escape from me so soon" replied Lara with a cute smile.
"I never want to lose you Lara" said Smyth with his sparkling eyes.
"And you Ms. May, thankyou very much for helping us" saying this Lara changed the topic .
" It's my pleasure Lara "replied May.
" But , what had happened there ?" asked Lara.
"I don't remember, when I opened my eyes you were lying fainted on the ground " replied Smyth.
"And you May. Have you seen anything ?" asked Lara.
" When you cried out loud then a white light covered the complete surrounding and when I opened my eyes Smyth was beside you "replied May.
"Now forget it Lara, it's good that we all are safe and now we have to reach to Vampsville so that you can be crowned before any other problem raise " said Smyth.
"How can I Smyth that dream is still striking my mind ?"
"Which dream Lara ?" asked May.
"Okay forget it. So shall we move." said Lara.
" Fine Lara , let's move. Hope you are not hiding anything which can be important for us" said May.
And they started moving towards Vampsville.
"I still can't believe that we have defeated Hellson" said Lara.
"But unfortunately, no one knows what had happened there " replied May. "You really don't know what had happened there."
"No May, I really don't remember anything about it."
"Stop disturbing her. If she said that she don't remember anything means she don't. Why would she lie ? " said Smyth rudely.
" Shut-up Mr.Vampster " replied May.
"Don't call me that or else I will...".
" Or what ? I will not leave you too if you dared to...".
"Stop it please. We are not here to fight "requested Lara.
" Okay, I too don't want to fight with someone...".
"Someone, who ? Speak clearly May" replied Smyth.
"Stop it now. Why don't you tell us something about yourself May ? "
"Hmm, we really want to know about you Ms. May"said Smyth.
"Okay, I'm the daughter of Eryn. He left me to his friend when my mother Christinia started a war to gain the power of all stones . There I learnt magic and more . And now I'm here to help you" told May.
"But ,who has sent you here ? "asked Smyth.
"I can't tell you that. You will definitely get to know it when the time will come. Till then you have to wait " replied May.
And suddenly they saw Victor's home.
"Hey look, there's Victor's home "said Lara.
"It's completely burned "replied Smyth.
They went towards the home.The ground was black due to leftover ashes and some pieces of unburned woods.
"Look here's a cave on the ground " told Lara.
"What would be here ?" said May.
"We don't know but, we will find it out " replied Smyth.
"How we will do that ?" questioned Lara.
"I'm going inside this cave" answered Smyth.
"Are you sure that you will go inside this cave ?" asked May.
"Okay, I am going and if anyone comes here then just whistle to inform me " said Smyth." Do you know how to whistle ?"
"Yes, I have learnt that", replied May.
Smyth goes inside the cave and after few minutes Lara and May heard the sound of troops coming towards them. May whistles to inform Smyth and then hides himself in the bushes with Lara.
"What are these Britishers doing here?" asked Lara.
"I don't know."
"We have to inform this to Smyth."
"I have already whistled and now they are standing infront of that cave. "
"Oh shut, some are going down in the cave. Wish Smyth would be alright" said Lara.
"Ofcourse he would be" replied May.
After half an hour,
"Look, they are coming out " said Lara.
"What are they carrying? " asked May.
"It's a very big box. No, see it's a coffin " told Lara.
"Who would be inside that coffin ? " questioned May
"I don't... , Where's Smyth ? He hadn't came out yet " said Lara.
"Don't worry , he would be fine" .
"Here's something wrong. We have to find it out" said Lara.
Suddenly, one of the Britisher began to move towards the bushes where they were hiding. May and Lara saw him and began quiet. He started checking the bushes while the other Britishers carry away the coffin to their camp. He was to reach to them, all a sudden Smyth came out from the cave.
"Hands-up , or else I will shoot you" said the Britisher pointing his gun towards Smyth.
"Who are you? What are you doing here? What was inside that coffin? Tell me fast" asked Smyth.
"Shut-up. Bent down on your knees and put your hands on back " ordered the Britisher.
Smyth does as he was ordered. The Britisher went towards him and put his gun on his head.
"What are you doing here ?"asked the Britisher.
"I have asked you this first. So you have to answer me. What are you doing here?" said Smyth.
"Okay then, Good-bye forever" the Britisher said .
He was to shoot Smyth but from the Britisher's back Lara hits very hard on his head with a stone. The Britisher falls down on ground fainted.
"Bravo, well hit lara" said May.
"Are you alright Smyth?" saying this she hugged him.
"I am fine Lara. Don't worry " replied Smyth.
"What did you find there? Do you know anything about that coffin " asked May.
"I was to reach to that coffin but suddenly I heard your whistle and hide between the stones " replied Smyth.
" There's something wrong going on here and we have to find it out " said Lara.
"You seemed to be very excited about Lara " said May.
" Yes I'm . I just want to know, what these are Britishers doing here ?" replied Lara.
"But remember to be careful . And not to trust on anyone easily " told May.
"What do you mean? Are you not coming with us? " asked Lara.
"My work is done now. You both are safe. So I have to leave now" said May.
" Then, when will we meet again ?" asked Lara.
"Soon. Our next meeting will be very soon "said May.
"Good-bye. Thanks for our help" said Lara and hugged her." Hope to see you soon again".
"We will because we can't run from our destiny ". Saying this May used her magical powers and vanished from there.
"So, shall we move ?" asked Smyth.
"Sure Smyth" replied Lara.
And started moving towards the Britisher's camp.
After travelling for few hours, they finally reached to that camp.
At Britisher's Camp,
"Look they are taking that coffin there "said Lara.
"Hmm, but we have to reach there very carefully" replied Smyth.
"There's too much security . How would we go there ?" asked Lara.
"We will go there at night" said Smyth.
At Night,
"Are you sure we should go there ?" questioned Lara.
"We don't have any other way, let's go" said Smyth.
And they very carefully and by hiding from the Britishers reached to that place where the coffin was placed.
"Shhh! We have to be quiet. They are standing outside " said Smyth.
"Are you sure we should open this coffin ?" questioned Lara.
"Yes, I want to know what's inside it" answered Smyth.
Saying this he opened the coffin.
"Oh! it's a dead body" said Lara.
"But why it is covered?"
"Leave it Smyth."
"No, I want to see who's this ."
And he uncoveres the face of the dead body which makes everyone shocked.
"Dad" said Smyth flabbergasted.
