"Steven, why are you doing this?" William asked in his cold voice. But if one were to know him enough, one could clearly notice the sadness coming out of his breath.

He was still unable to accept the fact that Steven had betrayed him and his pack until now.

He couldn't help but hope that all this was nothing but a dream. A nightmare, which would end once he opens his eyes.

"Why? William, are you really asking me this question? Don't you really know why I am doing this?" Steve stopped his sneer and asked him back seriously.

William pursed his lips. Yes, he knew and he may understand his reasons a little too.

But still he couldn't accept the betrayal.

He spoke back, "But now I am the Alpha. Couldn't you wait a little longer until I make everything straight? Couldn't you wait for me?"
