Chapter 44: Reading the will

Brian still can't accept that Ayunda is his grandfather's wife.

"Ayu... Ayu...,"call Brian then. Ayunda who looked blank made Brian confused.

"Ah, yes ...," said Ayunda who had just woken up from her daydream. She remembered his story when her was in school when her found out that Brian knew about his marriage to Mr. Danuarta.

"What are you thinking about?" Brian asked.

"I remember my debt to someone in the past," Ayunda said.

"Debt? Is it a debt that makes you have to marry my grandfather?!"

Ayunda just kept quiet and didn't answer Brian's question.

'You'd better go back, I want to rest.' Ayunda said, it made Brian disappointed because Ayunda immediately threw him away.

But there is nothing he can do for now, other than follow Ayunda's wishes. He will find the right time and invite Ayunda to talk about this again.

Brian said goodbye to Ayunda. Ayunda still had time to take Brian to the front of the house.
