Chapter 32: Prophesies
"What's an elemental?" He asks, his voice steady but his eyes are shifting silver to black and back.
"They're people who can harness elements. There's a prophesy that I will find them all and use them to save our species or something like that." I try to move out from under him but he holds me in place.
One hand holds both of mine above my head and his lower half is pinning me to the ground. His eyes fully black now, and his nails coming out of his hands, I can sense his anger and confusion.
"What does Ignis have to do with us? I heard you begging the Goddess. Something about me being your forever mate."
I can't tell him the truth but I can't lie to him. "You don't want to know the answer."
On cue, my body heats up. *You've got to be fucking kidding me!*
Praesul knows we are in trouble and she takes over, growling at Rex. "Let us up."
"Tell me." He growls back.
"I have another mate." Not a lie, not the full truth.
His growl is ferocious, his teeth become canines. "You. Are. MINE!"
I flinch and he howls at the sky. The sound is hollow and furious.
He parts my legs and shoves himself inside me. I cry out.
"Rex!" I scream, "Stop!"
He ignores me, like he didn't hear what I said.
"Nocte!" He growls when I say his name. The sound is half filled with pleasure and half filled with anger.
He's thrusting so deep inside me, it's painful. "You're...hurting...me..."
I scream between each thrust. Moans escape my lips. Even though it's painful, it's also all consuming and intimate.
"Show me you're mine." He growls in my ear before leaving bite marks on my neck.
At his words I come apart. The increased lubricant makes him go wild. He sucks my nipples until they're puffy. Hickies and bite marks blossom all over my body.
"Nocte! I am yours!" I cry, tears spilling out of my eyes.
He stops. His body still and I open my eyes. Silver ones stare back at me. He starts to move again. This time slowly. He lets go of my hands and wipes away my tears. My hands find his face and pull him in for a kiss. It's soft and gentle. His hands massage my body and his pace increases slightly. I can feel him hard like stone inside me.
"Don't finish in me." I warn and he hesitates but nods.
He thrusts a few more times then releases on my inner thigh. His eyes trained on my pulsing opening.
"I am your forever mate." He says to me and kisses my mouth softly.
"I am your forever mate." I know he's being honest, but my heart cracks knowing it's not true.
*Everyone clear the main area and entrance of the pack house.* Rex's orders come through clearly in my head.
"Don't want to give anyone a view." He smirks at our naked bodies as we walk up to the pack house hand in hand.
*He forgot about Ignis!!* Praesul cheers.
*Doubtful...but let's hope so!*
When we enter the house no one is in sight. We go to our room and shower together.
An hour later...
"Divide and conquer?"
"Absolutely."
We part ways to split Alpha duties. Rex manages the business side and I manage the pack. But first, I've got to find Niveus.
*Meet me in the dojo.*
*You mean the training building?*
*Now!* I command.
In record time Niveus shows up in loose clothes for working out. She's kind of adorable being nine with snow white hair. Her eyes are a little alarming but they're only white when her wolf is in charge. Normally they're sky blue.
We make our way to a private corner of the gym. It is unoccupied for the moment.
"What's your latest prophesy?"
"I've had two." She shrugs and starts kicking a punching back.
"Two?! And you didn't think to inform your Alpha?"
"You were in heat." She shrugs again.
"That was like 6 hours ago!" I complain but I understand her hesitation.
"Which one do you want to know first?"
"I don't care! Tell me both."
"One to live and two to die. Through your choices you will decide" I look at her confused. "It's talking about your mates."
"Great." I sigh, "Next."
"You will find the one you've been looking for, on a night of darkness by a cold foggy moor."
"That one is less cryptic and rhymed. So on the new moon I'll go to the land they're going to cultivate but haven't yet?"
"Sounds right to me." She smiles and continues attacking the bag.
"Look if you're going to train, at least let me show you how to throw a proper punch." I laugh.
