Chapter 29: Heat
Praesul took over, "Nocte stand down or you won't get what you want. I'm not opposed to phasing here and ripping you to shreds."
They growled at each other. What seemed like forever passed but Nocte backed down. Rex took over, clearly still upset.
"Baby, I need you." I whine, angry at myself for sounds so needy.
"I feel the pull too." He was gripping the door frame, crushing the wood slightly beneath his grip. "Are you sure? If we start, we won't stop."
"Yes." I whisper, the heat taking over my body and the weakness setting in.
Rex picked me up out of the tub, the water was scalding but he didn't care. His hands were red slightly but they healed quickly. He set me down gently on the bed.
"I've been waiting a lifetime for you." He says looking down at my hot, literally steaming body. "I'm going to make love to you."
"Please!" I beg as the heat feels like it's frying my insides.
He kisses me softly and inserts himself slowly. I arch my back and my legs wrap around him. Trailing kisses down my neck toward my breast, I moan. He takes one nipple into his mouth, then the other. I can feel my chest swell and my nipples harden.
He thrusts slowly and calmly. I move my body to match his rhythm. It's like a dance and in sync we moved slowly. It's tantalizing and erotic. I can see his eyes flicker black but remain mostly silver.
I'm still blazing but I can feel the heat about to break. I think it's because the pressure is building. Rex can sense it too. He palms my breast, massaging it while his other hand finds my ass. He grips it firmly and pulls it in to meet his thrusts.
"Mine." He says and I feel like my insides are drained of everything I've got.
I constrict around him and he pulses. Crying out, we cum together. He lays on top of me, though he supports part of his own weight.
"Holy shit." I say looking up at the stars. Our new bedroom has a skylight.
"Goddess, is it always going to be this good?"
I shrug and he pulls out of me to lay beside me. I wince but he cradles me to him.
"Did I hurt you?"
"No." I smile against him. The heat is gone. "We should probably go back out to our celebration."
"Nocte said the relief will only last an hour or two." Rex kisses my head.
*He's right. Maybe less since your heat is different...you know being an Alpha and all. Gotta extend that bloodline.*
*Praesul!*
I sat up and pushed off him. A look of confusion crossed over his face.
"You've been finishing inside me since we first started, you know, and we haven't had a pup." I begin but Rex cuts me off.
"You haven't been in heat." He shrugs. Then the realization dawns on him. His eyes gloss over and I know he's busy talking to Nocte. I must look like that, kind of out of focus, when talking to Praesul. "Nocte says it's up to the Goddess but we can stop doing that if you like. We don't think we're ready for a pup yet."
I shrug, "Praesul said the same thing. I'm not ready for a pup yet."
"Then it's settled. We will be more careful." Rex smiled and pulled me back to him. "Did you eat? We are going to need lots of energy. For the night is long..."
"Don't finish that sentence!" I groan. "I ate but we should probably get snacks and something with electrolytes?"
"Stay here and don't get dressed."
"I'm warming up again. You'd better hurry."
Rex put on shorts then ran swiftly out the door, shutting it tightly behind him. I got up to see the damage. Slight bruising where his hand gripped my ass but it would be gone by morning. My hair was wild so I sit and brush out the tangles.
A sudden knock at the door surprises me and I tilt my head out of curiosity. Maybe his hands were full so he couldn't get the door? I walk quickly to the door and open it. Ignis stands staring at me his eyes gold.
"We could sense it. Mate is in heat!"
