Chapter 22: Next Move
In the shower, Rex lathered his hands and washed me. I stood there replaying the entire event in my mind. He was gentle when he rubbed my sex, making sure to wash away all the evidence of my virginity.
"Would you like to wash me?" I nod and he hands me the bar of soap. I lather my hands and repeat the process on his muscular body.
When I get to his member, it's still erect. I wash it thoroughly and he pulses in my hands.
"I've never been this ready to go again after such an intense session." He whispers, moving a strand of my wet hair out of my face.

"You are my mate. I am your mate. We were made to share one soul in two bodies." Praesul warmed at his words but my walls were still intact.
He kissed my lips softly. His erection touching my stomach. Abruptly he pulled back.
"You need to explain yourself." He said, his eyes black.
"Nocte." Praesul acknowledges taking control. "We don't have to explain anything to you."
"I am your mate. You have known all along. Why didn't you tell us?"
"We have our reasons." Praesul countered, pulling away and stepping carefully out of the shower. Wrapping a towel around my hair she reached for another. He grabbed our hand and pulled us flush against him.
"Rex may have gone gently on you because it was your first time. I won't be so accommodating." She growled and he growled back.
He pulled our face to his and his tongue pushed through our lips. It was all consuming. His tongue devoured our mouth.
He picked me up and pushed me against the wall. My legs wrapped around him for support. Without warning he thrust into me, hard and relentless. I cried out but his lips found mine again and stifled the sound. Right as I felt my release coming, he stopped.
"Please." I whimpered.
"Tell me why."
"No." Praesul growled my eyes flashing yellow orange.
He brought me to the brink again but before I could find my finish, he stopped.
"Nocte!" I cried, frustrated tears finding their way into my eyes.
"Tell us." His black eyes stared into my green.
"I had to, a witch gave me the necklace when I was a child. I couldn't take it off if I wanted to fulfill the prophesy."
He seemed satisfied with the answer because he slammed back into me, still holding me up pressed firmly against the wall. I was dripping down my leg when he finally came too. My mind was foggy. I was exhausted. He'd made me cum over and over until he found his release.
"Baby?" He asked, Rex's silver blue eyes were back.
When he withdrew it stung. I pushed him away and dropped to my feet. I walked back to the room and put on my robe.
"Where are you going?"
I left without answering and he followed me in just a towel.
"Answer me." He grabbed my upper arm but I wrenched it free.
"I'm your mate and an alpha. You don't have the power to command me. If I wanted to tell you, I would have."
Anger was drawn all over his face as he watched me leave.

Watching her walk away our chest ached. We just wanted to hold her and make love to her.
*You're an asshole.* I scolded Nocte.
*She liked it.* He smirked.

I walked back to the room and got dressed. She would probably have gone back to her floor. Pacing back and forth, I decided what to do. I'd go and talk to her. I knew the basics but I wanted to get to know her better.

The word make Nocte and I both smile.
When I reached her floor, I hesitated before stepping out of the elevator. The spell she had cast didn't extend to me anymore, that was a relief.
I could hear her voice outside her office. She was talking to someone. When I heard his voice my wolf growled and slammed the door open.
"You don't know how to knock?" She smirked at me. She'd put on a purple sun dress and tied her wet hair back in a loose bun.
I looked at the guy. He was a member of her pack. It made me uneasy that they were alone in the enclosed space.
*Jealous, not uneasy.* Nocte corrected.
"We need to talk."
The guy looked between her and I then back to her. "Give the order Alpha."
"It's fine Prudens. Thank you."
He exited but not before sizing me up. Nocte growled but I didn't make it audible to their ears.
"Look, I'm pretty busy running a pack here, what do you want?" She was distancing herself, I could feel her reserve.
"You know I can feel your emotions right?"
"And I yours. You're curious, horny, and another I can't quite put my finger on." Her eyebrows furrowed and it was beautiful.
"Love." I told her.
She laughed.
Nocte was hurt but I didn't show any emotion. "When you find your mate, you love them unconditionally. I know you love me, whether you like it or not."
