Chapter 8: Girl on the sewerage
On Tulcea, Romania, in the year 2012, a girl named Ioana Rodan, leaves the high school at an early hour because a teacher couldn't come to class since it catched a cold yesterday, and so the entire class leaves the school early and head to do their things. Some of them are heading to their houses to profit of this thing, while others are going to other places to profit of this early leave. Ioana however, she is heading to her house by herself, usually she is going there with the bus since it is at almost two kilometers from the school, but today, she doesn't have enough money to take the bus.
"There are only two kilometers of walking," she said to herself after she counts the money from her pocket. "I can arrive there in almost fifteen minutes."
And so Ioana is walking on the street, heading straight to her house.
Usually, Ioana would listen to music while she would walk, but her phone has run out of battery, and this will make this walk boring for her.
A few minutes later, as she was about to take a right turn on the street, she hears a noise coming from somewhere. The noise she heard it is described as a heavily breathing. Ioana is looking at her back, but there is nobody there, only a few people who were walking and minding their business. Ioana shakes her shoulder and she continued to walk.
Then, at the moment she was about to pass one big canalization cover, the one which is used to the sewerage system in cities, she stops instantly because she could feel a cold breeze. She is shaking, and tells to herself.
"Wow, it is freezing in the middle of May."
Ioana was about to do another step, but she stops, because she heard someone calling her name, in a chilling and trembling tone. She turns around, look at her surroundings, but to avail, there wasn't someone who was calling her. Then, she heard again someone of calling her, she continued to look around, but at the third call, she heard the call coming from that pipe coverage. She is falling on her knees and listen to it. People there weren't paying any attention to Ioana since they consider this being some sort of problem or an unhappy event to her, like she lost something that fall on the sewerage.
After Ioana listens closely to the sewer cover, she is then overwhelmed by the voice who is calling her name. Ioana raises from there, scared and leaves the sewerage cover in a fast walking rhythm, ignoring the calls. She knew there is a myth in her city about a ghost who is fetching the souls of people and bring their bodies into the sewerage where it will use them as food. Ioana wasn't so much into paranormal, but her gut, at that moment, told her to leave that place and continue heading to her house without looking back.

A few days later after the meeting, Ioana is walking on the street, now on the night, together with her boyfriend. Both of them are heavily intoxicated by the alcohol they have taken from one of their friend who was celebrating his 18th birthday. Ioana and with her boyfriend are walking to Ioana home by taking the same route Ioana was taking earlier when she left the school. These two would not be able to get a taxi or a bus because they do not have any money at them, and nobody has their phone at them.
They are walking until they got to that sewer cover Ioana passed a few days ago. This time, the voice could be heard louder, and her boyfriend heard the voice. These two are going to that bottle, they are listening closely, and both of them being heavily drunk, they think this is a joke of someone, so with their strength, they open the pipe bottle, and on the next second, someone is grabbing the boyfriend of Ioana, and drag him into the sewer. Ioana was trying to hold him, but she slipped and falls into the sewer together with the boyfriend. After that, the sewer cover closes by herself and screams could be heard there for a few minutes, and then silence.

Ioana wakes up, she sees the light of a small lightbulb into this room, which will help her to explore this terrifying area, she realizes is tied with chains. She observes a few dolls there with human faces, and having normal body dolls. She was trying to deliberate herself from these chains by moving, but she was unable to do it. She tried to scream, but this did not work since she has some kind of tape at her mouth. She could only muffle for a few minutes, crying and moving around aggressively like a pig about to be cut in the Christmas or in the earlier days before Christmas could come.
The door of the room where Ioana is tied is fully opening, the door slams the wall of a few pipes there. The person who enters the room it is a woman, probably in her 30s or 40s, dressed in a school uniform some high schools were wearing it in the time when Romania was under Communism. Her face is deformed, having only one eye who seems working. The woman is having a lipstick on her lips, her hair it is almost gone, having only a few threads who are almost covering her baldness. She is also chubby, and her arms are having a lot of cuts which shows she probably injures herself because most of the cuts looks like a knife cut, rather than a scratching. Her smell it is so bad, Ioana was about to vomit. She smelled like a hobo, but combined with one with the smell of someone dead who is decomposing. The woman goes to the little girl, she is showing on her left hand a doll, with the face of her boyfriend, she also sees blood marks on the doll and on her arms.
Ioana cries and begs for her freedom, but only a muffle could be heard. The woman, feels angry that Ioana is causing a ruckus, so she is taking out a rusty knife and cut her entire neck by a few times, until Ioana stops from crying and "speaking". Then, that woman who killed the girl earlier, takes the head of the girl, she eaves the room and heads to her workshop where she will be creating another doll for her collection.
As she got to the workshop, the Deformed woman turns on the light, puts the head of Ioana on the table, and she cuts the face of her. She cuts it so perfectly even though one of her eye is not working. Then, the woman puts the face of her on a mannequin which is measuring at least one meter.
After a long hour of installing the "face" to the mannequin, the woman has finished, and she smiles at the beautiful creation (she thinks) has made it on her sewer to this day. Then, she says with hoarseness tone:
"M-My Ioana... My Ioana..."
