Chapter 5: Hero time
Deciding the easiest way out was just jumping out his window, which leads to the backyard of the mansion. "I'm on the second floor so just jumping out it will hurt, but I do heal" wade grumbled before jumping.
Hitting the ground rather painfully he whimpered before taking cover behind a bush that he could and should have aimed for when he jumped, "fuck that hurt, what was the saying look before you leap? Well next time I know better" he scolded himself in the cover of the bush.
Wade decided to wait ten minutes just in case he woke anyone up with the noise he made when he landed so he waited in the bush, letting his body heal. During this rest time he also armed himself, placing 2 guns on his waist and two swords behind his back held in by ice which also allowed him to actually pull them out. Then he left the premises that using the shadows to hide from any guards that where guarding him and his family, 'yeah I'm going to have to confess about this to mum' he decided as he easily slipped past the guards who were asleep.
The next forty minutes when by quickly as wade made his way down the streets through neighbour hoods the collectively got worse the further, he went from the super-rich to the super poor. spotting what looked a drug deal he whispered his plan "now I should first look for solo thugs to deal with and then move up to larger groups", he started following the man who sold the drugs before deciding that it was boring. Taking action, he jumped forward while creating a hammer out of ice and waked the man over the head with it, it was over quickly as the man was knocked out the second the hammer hit him.
"well that was easy, hope the next fight will be interesting" wade grumbled as he went through the unconscious man's pockets, he found a phone and a bag of white powder that he left with the man. "well one down many to go" he mumbled to cheer himself up as this fight was so disappointing, "maybe next time I will announce myself so we can fight a bit?" he went as ideas of how to have a good fight went thought his head. 'oh, damn I might become a battle junkie, that might not be a good think' wade concluded.
"are you done stealing his things" a young feminine voice asked from the darkness, startling wade. "who's there? Show yourself" wade shouted as he searched for the voice, but all he saw was darkness all around him so he decided to move down an alley way since he didn't want any more Randoms showing up. "why do bad guys always say that" a young male voice responded in the shadows; wade spun to where it came from allowing him to see a flash of red, yellow and green before it went further into the darkness.
"so, if I'm guessing correctly its robin and batgirl" wade declared as he drew his swords to defend himself and putting his back to a while to protect himself from sneak attacks. "good guess criminal, now drop your weapons and surrender" robin advised with a slightly mocking tone in his voice, causing wade to get annoyed with him.
"nah I want to play a little more "wade mocked then suddenly swung his blade in an arc at the empty air, as the blade swung, he coated the blades in a layer of ice which was propelled out from the blade. this attack wasn't deadly but would hurt if it hit and cause the temperature around the attack to drop drastically, as the attack flew out it met no resistance before shattering into a wall of the other side of the alley way.
"what was that" batgirl asked from the shadows further away from wade, this made wade smile as he plans his next move. "I don't know but it's a lot colder now, maybe I should call batman to help take him out" robin replied from shadows near the wall where the ice slash hit, he was looking around to get an idea of what happened. During all of this wade put one of his swords away and brought out a smoke bomb from his ring, he then threw it into the area between robin and batgirl.
Wade closed his eyes a used his powers over ice to cool the area around them even more before the smoke grenade even hit the ground, as he was cooling down the area, he found he could feel were both of his targets where from the heat their bodies emitted. "watch out he is planning something" batgirl warned as she lost sight of wade with the smoke that started filling the area around alleyway. "no shit, he might be trying to run" robin replied before he felt a shiver down his spin, "need help here" he shouted while wades foot slammed into his back sending him flying.
Robin scream as he went flying filled the night sky before it stops suddenly, "rob u okay, what happened "batgirl screamed as she searched for her friend. "hahaha that was fun but I want a good fight so I will face to head on" wade declared from in front of batgirl, the smoke was clearing enough for her to see his figure in front of her. "what did you do to robin" she screamed while she took a batarang reading herself for the fight.
"I kicked him into a wall, I think he passed out" wade explained simply as his sword was pointed at batgirl, "now let's fight" he declared while running at her.
Wades sword came down towards batgirl only to be meet with her batarang, which held up for a second before it started cutting through it. This second was used by batgirl to put distance between them, she kicked off wade pushing herself back quickly to make her out of his range.
