Dashing to the closest escape root, I took off for the open door way. Lynn just a few feet behind me, was screaming, "Take your damn medicine, and we'll talk about it Rose!" Not knowing my surroundings a ran in circles around the house until I knew where all the exits were. Almost out of breath, I bolted for the for the front door, but right before I could get the door open I was slammed to the ground by Lynn.
Tears pouring out of my eyes I yelled, "You all are just trying to put me back to sleep again that medicine is life sucking! Why did you looked at me like I was crazy when I told you about a dream! Why did I wake up in a bed! Who moved me!" "Damn it all Rose, I'm not trying to hurt you! I'll look at the meds and side affects, I just need you to calm the hell down for me. No body will hurt you anymore. But you are right, this isn't the house you remember either. Louis moved into this one almost a year and a half ago. If I let you up you better promise me that you won't run again", Lynn said as calm as possible, while still sitting on me. I said, "no promises" I whispered. Gritting her teeth, she sighed, "fine".
Getting off of me, she took a stance that looked like she was getting ready for me to bolt again. Looking at her I huffed and told her, "I don't wanna run anymore, Lynn. My chest hurts too badly". The look on her face was even more frustrated. Lynn took all the pamphlets with my medication, and told me, "let's get to the bottom of the sleepiness. After taking the pills I was supposed to, Lynn continued to read all of them. She read every single side effect, warning label, and possible reaction, as I stared to pass back out on the floor.
Ann, Louis, and Lynn took me back to the doctor's while I was sleeping for more testing. After Lynn had read all the pamphlets, discovered that I had an allergy that needed to be diagnosed, and that I would need a change in medicine.
