For as long as I can remember, I've always wanted to disappear. To just vanish and just be gone from this twisted world. With no more suffering and no more confusion. There has always been target on my back since before I was even born. To be honest, I wasn't supposed to be born. See, I was a mistake, and apparently a big one.
To put things into perspective, my father Louis was a southern, drunk, secretly violent, army veteran, and party boy type. On the other hand, my mother Ann was a northern, silver spoon, more stubborn than a mule, I'm never wrong type. Two absolute polar opposites. No one would have ever pictured them together, Especially not my mother's parents, but my mother being as stubborn as she was, ignored her family and stuck by him. As a party hard drunk, my father spent almost every penny my mother had brought with her, but at the time she had forced herself to become oblivious to his errors. Not long after they had married, my mother got custody of her other two children from her previous marriage.
Now Louis was excited, he was a new father to a 11 year old boy named Emmett, and a 9 year old little girl named Lynn. He had told Ann before they had gotten married that he had an accident when he was a child that would stop him from having children. He was very happy to accept her's. The thought she would never have to bare his child weighed heavy on her heart. They considered adoption quite often, but little did she know he had a very aggressive arrest history that prevented him from adopting. He had convinced her that she no longer had to take birth control, because he could not have children. He had told her not to worry about it.
Needless to say as time went on, I was convinced. Ann was dumbfounded, for she never stepped with anyone other than her husband. As she confronted Louis, he got violently angry, for I supposedly couldn't be his child! Outraged he grabbed Ann by the throat, in front of her crying screaming children. Right then he had punched in the face, so hard in fact that she was out cold on the ground. As the blood poured out of Ann's freshly broken nose, her daughter Lynn tended to the wound and was very quick to check to make sure there was no other injuries. Louis still in a rage, was throwing his beer bottles all over the house. Emmett stood in front of her, to shield his pregnant mother and little sister from Louis. Louis started to scream at the scared children, "your mother was a whore, a cow, and a stupid slut"! Shaking the boy stood there, refusing to move.
"I will prove that this baby is yours!" Ann insisted, with tears and blood still dripping down her face after she came to. "we shall conceive another one, after I have this one. I will not leave this house for any reason! I am not going to be called a lier!", she yelled. Louis snapped back at her, "fine, we'll see about that!"
About 7 and a half months later, was the birth of a premature baby girl. She looked as if she was a porcelain doll, so small and fragile. She was of soft olive completion, hair black as pitch, eyes light brown, and her nose shape was all her father's. An exact clone of Louis' mother, Evie. Evie held the baby for the very first time, eyes full of disbelief, but in awe. She said, "Louis my son, this is without a doubt your child". "I still do not believe it", he yelled! "we shall have another right away", Ann said softly. Evie nodded and said, "indeed, you both shall". Placing the baby back in the hands of the mother.
